    Happy New Year!
    I know, I know... I'm behind in the times - but I've been pretty busy lately.

    So for Christmas I went to my boyfriends parents house with him. It was good - weird, but good. His family doesn't celebrate Christmas the same way as my family (they just have different traditions) - but that was okay. We did a lot of partying while we were there - like 5 out of 7 nights haha. It was pretty fun though, we saw a lot of people we hadn't seen in a couple of years.

    We came back to town for New Years. I had to work on New Years Eve from 9am to 8pm, which sucked and I was tired. But after I got off work we went to our friend, Jenn's, apartment. It was around 10:30pm and there were a couple people already sloshed. We decided to play a couple of drinking games, which was fun (especially watching the drunk people trying to play haha). Unfortunately then I had an allergic reaction to the new eyeshadow I bought, but Jenn gave me some allergy pills.

    Then at midnight a few of the sloshed people decided to go home, but we were so preoccupied by them leaving (one of them was completely passed out - like we couldn't even wake her up... and my boyfriend ended up being one of the three guys that helped carry her out to the taxi) that we all ended up missing the clock hit 12 by about 30 seconds (which isn't that bad, but I do really like counting down!)

    After everyone else left, we started playing drinking games again (we played fuck the dealer and fuck you) then we called a cab to go to the bar; When we got there we couldn't get in because they were "past capacity". So we went to a different bar, which really sucked but we all had a beer each anyways. Then we decided to walk to Louis Gee's for pizza; It had been snowing all night and of course I decide to wear flats (ie, open toe/top shoes) because I hadn't intended on doing any walking... my feet nearly froze off my body! After we ate we tried called a cab but there was no answer at any of the places and we ended up waiting almost an hour to actually get one.

    That's pretty much all that's happened since the last time I posted. The only thing worth talking about anyways! Later days!

    I didn't end up getting my tattoo after. My appointment was at 12 noon, but it was an hour drive away from where I live - and I overslept. I just couldn't make it, so I had to call and cancel it. I am going to reschedule it for early in the New Year though. I'm thinking it was probably a good thing that I couldn't make it though; while I knew what I wanted to get, I really wasn't sure where I wanted to get it.

    It's been snowing a lot here lately; I don't like it. I'm really not a fan of winter and/or snow. However, the snow is getting me excited for Christmas. I put up my decorations today - all ten of them haha.

    So, my boss pretty much called me stupid last week at work. First she got angry at me because I hadn't left a note saying that we were out of cans of pepsi (which I didn't know I was required to do - I've been there for over two years and this was the first time I'd heard of leaving a note about something like that). Then she got angry at me about the new cash register never working out. Long story short, there's a new cash register at work and all the buttons are in different spots and it just works a little bit different from the other one in general. It was being used all day long, and by me at night; I had to close it off at the end of my shift. For some reason it was my fault that it wasn't working out; even though, like I said, it was being used all day (before I even got to work that is). So anyways, she looks at me and says "so what, I can't buy a new cash register because you can't figure out how to use it?" and walks away. I was speechless. We'd only had that cash register for a couple of days I had to learn how to use it - and I wasn't the only one using it. How did she know I was the one making the mistakes? Maybe it was one of the other people who used it before I got there! Anyways, I was really pissed off that night. I'm sure I took my anger out on more than one customer.

    I went out last Friday for my bff's birthday. She had a few people over at her place - we played drinking games. Fuck the dealer, beer pong, fuck ups, etc. Afterwards, we all headed to the dance bar. It was pretty fun.

    It was "midnight madness" at the mall today, which is silly here because the mall actually only stays open until 11pm... but anyways, I started my Christmas shopping. I bought my mom and dads gifts, they were expensive - but worth it! I also bought my bff's birthday gift - hopefully she'll like what I got her!

    I'm going to get my second tattoo on Tuesday, I'm pretty nervous/excited. I know what I'm getting, I just don't know where I'm getting it haha. I've been very indecisive about the location. I'm getting "Always Love" written in my parents handwriting... somewhere.

    I still can't decide what to do for Christmas either - it's really eating at me. My boyfriends mom wants me to spend Christmas at their place this year because over the past four years he's either spent Christmas at my house, or we've both just gone home and met up for New Years. I love the idea of spending Christmas with my boyfriend and his family... but I also want to spend it with my parents and my brother. Why can't they all just live closer together?

    I've missed all of my university classes for the past month. I've just lost all interest in going to school and I don't know why. It's horrible. I need to get back into it or I'm going to fail - and I'm so close (three or four courses away) to being done I don't want that to happen, but I just have no motivation.

    Work work work work work! That seems like it's all I do lately. I've worked four days in a row now, and I still have four more shifts left to go. Gross.

    I have to go to school early tomorrow to work on a paper that's due on Thursday. I've been working so much this week that I haven't even started it yet - I haven't even done the readings yet. It's going to be a long day tomorrow. I have to work on that paper early, then go to class, then work on that paper again - then I have work. Ugh.

    So Halloween is coming up this weekend. I'm planning on going out to the bar - anyone else? I'm dressing up as a "sexy" football player. I'm basically wearing one of my boyfriends football jerseys with tights and heals haha. What are you dressing up as?

    My birthday was Saturday (Oct. 15th) and it was great! I had a great time at my party, I got amazing gifts, lots of hugs, and more than enough birthday wishes.

    Tonight I went to trivia at the campus bar with my boyfriend. The topic was Disney/Pixar - we did great! We didn't place in the "everybody plays" trivia, but we weren't far off (like we usually are). But we did place in the league trivia though - we got second place!

    I think I'm starting to get the flu though, so that sucks. I have a headache, fever, runny nose, and an irritated throat. I hope it doesn't get worse - I have school tomorrow, and work after. It's going to be a long day if I'm sick... Oh well. I'll survive!

    My birthday is in three days! I will be turning 24 :) I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to do for my birthday yet, but I would say I'll have some people over for drinks and go out dancing. The thing that excites me the most about my birthday is that my boyfriend has had my gift picked out and bought for almost a month now - and I really want to know what it is!

    I got back my folklore reading journal today - I got a 78%. I was thrilled, and surprised, by this mark because I only spent like three hours working on it. I expected to pass it, but not by that much. We were told it was just a reading journal, but it's actually more like a full blown paper - mine ended up being almost 6 full pages. I also had my folklore midterm today. I think I may have done alright on it... I feel like I did alright at least.

    My favorite movie is Dirty Dancing, and it has been since I was 14.

    So today I slept in late (by accident), oversleeping for my class by almost a full hour - but that was okay. My professor doesn't cover a whole lot in one class anyways. Then I got ready to go to work from 4pm to 9pm. The shift felt really long because the restaurant wasn't very busy - but I spent most of my night just talking to my coworkers so I didn't go completely crazy. When I got home I had to work on a paper, which only took two hours to finish (yay!). Now I'm watching Hart of Dixie (because I loved Rachel Bilson on The OC), and getting ready for bed!
