    So today I went to a nerdfighter gathering but it turned out to be the kind of gathering where a large bunch of 16 year old fangirls turn up to stalk a few famous youtubers. (whom I don't even know) so me and Malin went to starbucks and then Waterstones instead.

    I was looking through my stuff and here is a picture of me and chloe last november. I miss her a lot less now than I did a month ago, so that's better. Not that I _don't_ want to miss her, it's just that it's depressing to feel ~pangs of longing~ when I won't be able to see her until august.

    My point is that well by talking to Malin today about harry and the potters and comparing awesome/ shitty airports and general nerdfighter stuff when I haven't been able to for a long time makes me feel better and less poopy.

    I feel so complainy today. Reading week is next week = no class, but I have essays to write, reading to do and people to interview/ interrogate/ stalk. Such is anthropology. Do you have reading week?

    it's a little faint, but here's the heart I got as a door stamp for the flea market I went to on saturday. They didn't have stamps, so the person at the door just drew something on everyone with a sharpie. Also apparently sharpie is really permanent.
    The thing I like about being here are the BAKE SALES because they were selling cakes and stuff at the flea. om nom nom

    it's cold today, so I've got Tegan and Sara to help keep me warm ^_^

    One upside of english weather is that I get to wear my fluffy hoodies which I otherwise would seldom wear in singapore.

    I like hearing about other people's lives on the internet #nosy but sometimes it just makes me feel that there are also other people with the same kinds of struggles as me and it makes me feel better.

    yesterday I had to visit my aunt and uncle to do the chinese new year thing, and it was good to be around lots of vaguely-related relatives. When I was younger, the maternal side of my family used to have massive gatherings on the first and second days of CNY; like 20+ people in the house at the same time, and it's nice to experience some of that again.
