I am actually alive!

Sorry for the, lets see... carry the four... month and a half absence, folks.

I'm around, sorta. Just incredibly busy with school and the upcoming holidays.

What is everyone up to? Anything awesome happen while I was gone?

Bourne or Bones? I can't decide!

Had a dentist appointment today and now my jaw aches something fierce. I've lived on tea and soup most of the day.

My first week of classes is finally over, and I'm quite satisfied with the turn out. 2 science classes (with labs) and 2 art classes. Not too shabby.

What about everyone else? Had a decent week so far?

Sorry I've been MIA the past few days. The new semester just started, so I've been scrambling to accomidate classes and ending up exhausted by the time I'm home. Dentist appointment in the morning tomorrow and class at night, fun fun.

Anyone taking classes this semester? How is your schedule looking?

Some recent sketches, while watching Bones. My favorite on the page, the amazing Mr. Stephen Fry as GordonGordon Wyatt (in the upper left on this pic) does NOT photograph well. I promise, that one looked a lot better on the page. Booth, however, came out a bit better (middle, on left) but David is exceedingly hard to capture.

All that writing is observations on facial structure and shadow, along with a few quips about the actors.

Tomorrow I'll update with art museum sketches!

Went into DC today to spend the day sketching at the National Gallery of Art. The guards there are incredibly nice, and talked to me at length about their favorite piece in the gallery (which, 9 times out of 10, was an impressionist painting).

Anyways, I was sketching on the metro heading home when a guy walked up to me and handed me these paper cranes. He said, "Here, I made this for you." , and walked away.

Kind of made my day. ^_^

Though I have to wonder if they aren't laced with anthrax or something... >.>

Tired. Sketching.

I do believe that it is bath time. ^_^

Had a great night! Went into DC with my sistetr to go Salsa dancing- ended up dancing with a charming Australian for 2 hours, huge success!

I'm hoping this salsa Monday thing becomes a habit, I had a blast.
