the x ring is our university ring here at St. Francis Xavier University in small-town Nova Scotia, and it is the pride and joy of all students who receive it. we had a countdown going for 1190 days, and THE day is finally here!

@chelseagould and I showed up to class today ready for an unplanned #twintuesday. so what else could we do but take advantage of the situation?

my macaroons are gone.
I bought them last weekend to share with my co-workers, and I just finished off the last three. I want more. anything chocolate will do. anyone?

I sent my ring away today to get sized today. It had to be done -- it was a size & a half too big -- but even after only three days of wearing it, my finger already feels naked.

so ... I *might* have gotten engaged last night! Read on for the story:

Joey took me on a date to a city 30 minutes away, where we went out for dinner and a movie. We got back home, he tucked me into bed, and left just as I was falling asleep, around 12:15 or so. Pretty normal date night.

you know, the place where clean clothes go that have been tried on and promptly discarded, or for sweaters worn once, etc. it's an embarrassment to my room as a whole.

I've been addicted to Starbucks Awake Tea Lattes for awhile now. When I say "addicted", I mean that every time I'm near a Starbucks I pick one up, because there isn't a real Starbucks in Antigonish.

But this summer I bought a milk frother thing, and I've been whipping these babies up like nobodies business. I also bought a huge tub of vanilla syrup from my old boss at the ice cream shop, 4L of syrup for only $6! So I pay basically nothing [the cost of milk & a tea bag] to make incredible lattes that I would pay $5 at Starbucks to buy.

And don't tell them, but I think mine are even better!
