Cocktail set for Christmas! Oh the fun that will be had with this! :-)

I've only recently developed a taste for cocktails. I think having a Margharita in Singapore was not a good 'first time' cocktail. After much dedication and persistence though ;-) I've managed to find some truly scrumptious cocktails! I love pina coladas, apple and kiwi martinis, toblerones and midori splice. My all-time favourite though is the French Martini. Maybe because I like all things French, maybe it's because I adore pineapple but I love nothing better than a good, frothy French Martini! Here's the recipe on how to make one that I found on the internet (I prefer to finish mine off with a raspberry to garnish. Perfect finishing touch!)

    1 1/2 oz vodka
    1/4 oz Chambord® raspberry liqueur
    1/4 oz fresh pineapple juice
    1 twist lemon peel

Pour each of the above into a tall bar glass. Shake with ice, pour into a cocktail or martini glass, and serve.

    Enjoy!

    Lots of love!!

    P.S. What's your favourite cocktail??

So, I've been completely wicked and not dailyboothed in well over a month now......lol! Lame joke but the sentiment remains. I've been an atrocious boother and hope you can all find it in your heart to forgive me?

Hope everyone had a magical Christmas and a very memorable New Years! Love and luck to all my feisty friends in 2010!

Thanks so much @alanasays for boothing for me in my absence! You're the bestest! :-D

Hope everyone has been well while I've been away. I'm so glad to be home!! Missed you all sooo much!

Rachmanship has gone to Bali and left us all behind and she's asked me, @alanasays to update her DB while she is gone. Leave her a comment to let her know how much we miss her!

A picture of a necktie, for the viewing pleasure of my dear friend, @Hachiko. My favourite accessory! :-)

I had such a lovely surprise when I opened my hotmail box this morning. I have been commissioned to write my first travel article! It's for an American travellers magazine and I actually get paid to write this. Over the moon is an understatement!! :-)

Went to the midnight screening of 'New Moon' last night. I was like a giant girl's sleep-over party! Not a boy in sight, except the extremely uncomfortable-looking ushers. Poor boys! :-) Not being much of a Twilight fan *gasp* the movie was actually not too bad. Plus, who could tell anyway with all those shirtless wolves running around the place :-D Anyone else seen it yet?

    Lots of love!!

Ever get the feeling that someone's watching you....

Going to watch 'New Moon' tonight. Yay! With my ex-manager/loveliest friend in the world, Shelley-Welley!! Shell is my absolute fav movie-watching pal as she is the only one who will splurge on Gold Class with me and who never feel bad ordering the double chocolate sundae with (which comes in a fishbowl).

    Lots of love!!

I scared my mom half to death when I got this celtic symbol henna-tattooed on the back on my neck. It was the first time I had been overseas by myself and she was convinced I was going to do something outrageous, like come home with a Scottish love-child :-) My parents have always been absolute about 2 rules: No tattoos and no motorbikes. My uncle was killed on a motorbike a few years ago so my siblings and myself have given into that rule fairly easily but not so much the tattoo one....I'm undecided :-)

What is something that your parents would never, ever let you do growing up?

Hope everyone is well and that everyone from Perth is enjoying this gorgeous weather. Summer is finally here!! :-D

    Lots of love!!

This trilogy is my favourite set of books of all time! I read all three of them last week so I think that counts as three books for my 50 Book Challenge ;-)

Seriously though, these books are amazing. It's called 'The Mark of the Lion' trilogy by Francine Rivers. It's all about the first-century Christians in Rome with all the persecutions and the catacombs. It's so interesting, especially if you like historical fiction. I highly recommend them! :-D

I have been sooo slack with my boothing lately and I wish that I could say that it's because I've been busy but I'm not gonna lie. I've just been plain lazy :-) Hope everyone is well!

    Lots of love!

'You have no idea the kind of things I have written down in this little black book of mine.......mwahahaha!'

Yesterday was officially the start of NaNoWriMo and in true Rach-style, I have yet to put pen to paper :-) I am the queen of procrastination. I can see that this is gonna turn out to be one of those things where I wait until the very last minute and then spend a solid three days writing non-stop, surrounded by empty coffee cups and bawling my eyes out from tiredness.

Congrats to @alanasays though, who has already made a cracking start to her project. We are having a wee writing sess 2moz at a coffee shop in town so hopefully that should encourage me to get my mojo on and make the magic happen! lol! We'll see!! :-)

Who else is doing NaNoWriMo this year???

    Lots of love!!

This is one of my favourite paintings in the world by my favourite artist, Marc Chagall. This painting was in the British comedy 'Notting Hill'. You know, where they're talking about the picture and she's like, 'Because love isn't love without a voilin-playing goat'....actually.... that would make a good DB game! Fill in the blank! 'Love isn't love without.....'

I'll go first....Love isn't love without.....having little heart-shaped pupils in your eyes when you look at each other (,")
