I went to an art store, a few days ago, and found this picture hidden in stacks of other pictures and posters. When I put it back, I couldn't stop thinking about it. This picture stimulates my emotions and really inspires me. I couldn't resist buying it and I had to take it with me. I'm sure glad I bought it because I do love it : ) I don't normally buy things for display, but this artwork was worth it. Now, I have something to admire and look at!

It was taken, by a french photographer, in Paris. Can you tell me who that photographer is? Kudos to whoever gets it right ; )

The fiery spirit of sunlight enters the womb like a violin of light,
the chords of sound against the intense shadows.
It illuminates dust,
the visible and somatic gown of air,
as if it's a manifestation of wind in slow motion.
The diminuendo of its travels,
borne with petty purpose,
lacks to enlighten absorption for the forest of immobility,
the silent embryo and suspension of pregnancy--the nature of its inanimate and rudimentary stillness.
As the curtain closes,
it ceases to portray as a heroine of growth and dissipates into the night,
the indistinct breath of death.
However, I am a tree; surface, the soil of my soul; veins, the roots to life; and when in a waltz with light--produce energy as if in an aerobatic flirtation with a chaotic assemblage of butterflies...
I'm frustrated by this "poem." It was inspired by this picture. It seems kinda unfinished but I no longer feel the need to continue it. Anywayy, that's what I see, when I'm bored and sitting on my bed, in my room. I've also described a scene, in poetic form, from outside of my window, in a letter to someone...can the recipient guess who he is? *nods nods*
Now, I have a challenge for you. Write anything, in poetic form, using the words "fruits" (meaning anything produced or accruing; product, result, or effect; return or profit: the fruits of one's labors) and "hypocrisy." Show me what you can come up with! :) I may pick my favorite piece and display it in my next booth! orrr share your own poem(s)!
soooo I'm tired because I stayed up all night, and I had to wake up early. I'm going to Virginia Beach (a three hour drive), with my friend, until tuesday. THEN I have work the next day....
I cried my eyes out, watching "My Sister's Keeper" ugh..lol
Aeropostale is one of my fav brands and it's raining outside. It's beautiful. I love the sound of raindrops, the smell of it, and how inspiring it is.
