This is one side of my Earth Science notecard from freshman year. The other side is just as cramped. I averaged 3 to 4 lines of written text for every line on the notecard.
Here's the back [: I'd show you my history one from this year, but unfortunately the teachers collect them at the end of the exam, and I had that one today (I was only allowed to keep this one because I asked, and because it was so distinct, nobody could steal and use it)
@jenie haha yup! double sided =] @thelisabanana haha I had to keep sharpening my pencil to keep the writing so small! and my webcam makes it way too blurry to read on here @JoeCool Ditto! @kabakowski wowie! that's a lotttttt of stuff! I did 3 lines for every line too, and i think it looked about 4 on the side with no lines. And I'm always afraid that if I use a highlighter, then it will smudge it, and ruin my prize possession!
@nicksilvestri I don't use highlighter to actually highlight text, for the same reason. What I do is put a dot of color at the beginning of every new sentence/note, so I can see where new thoughts begin, and it makes things easier to read. I separate units with colored lines, and take a light colored pencil (this one is light blue) and write out the name of the unit over the text, for easy reference. If the color is light enough, nothing will smudge and it'll still be legible.
