Today I went charity shop-shopping (and sadly normal shop-shopping too) and bought this dashing bag like £5 green jumper (it's warm and comfy and I can swing around in it) along with a ankle length £7.00 floral dress (not describing it well). I finally found some clothes I love :)
I really have to knuckle down with a critical essay soon.... oh, help.
Got film/ batteries for my film camera so hopefully in the not-so-far future I will take some more beautiful photos :)
We didn't get any more snow (sadly), do you have snow?
Today, 12th February 2012, I returned to campus and went on a walk with Mollie and Miffy (my housemates). It was beautiful as when we got further out (this particular shot is taken very near our uni campus) as the snow was still very thick (for England) and made that great foot-in-snow sound. Beautiful landscapes too. We were very English and went to a tearoom but being me, always awkward, I had a hot chocolate in contrast to their two teas :P Not a tea drinker.
Hoping other people are enjoying the beauty of the snow. Such a naturally gorgeous thing :D
To all you Chinese New Year celebraters I wish you a hearty new year! Also please could you help me: I made this card for my new housemate Simon, who is from China and I believe speaks Mandarin, and am wondering if the lettering on the card (in the balloon) says 'Happy New Year' or not?
Thanks. Life savers. I used Google to aid my awful knowledge of other languages :P
Also was my using red pencil for the writing un-lucky as I read that using red ink was a really bad omen!
Here are three songs for you- the 1st I've played many times today (I found it this morning and am in love with it. I must have heard it before but today I really fell for it):
