The wind blew me over as i took this picture. It was pretty crazy last night.

Last full day in Japan, leave at 3PM tomorrow. Sad to leave, but stoked to be back where I actually know what I'm ordering for lunch.

Whats with all the castles here, I mean you'd think this was a country rooted in a history of violent upheavals and careful political positioning that leads to incredibly bloody wars repeating a seemingly endless series of new rulers and new usurpers.

But that couldn't be true, Japans all about robots and giant lizards and stuff.

Japan is fun, but I'm beginning to miss the English language. Not enough that I want to go home yet though.

Today didn't go so well. I was supposed to go to a Hanshin Tigers game but when I got to Koshien Stadium I found out they were actually playing at the Kyocera Dome in downtown Osaka. Technically a "home" game, but at a different stadium...

So now I'm drowning my sorrows with beer and yakisoba buns, and watching anime about high school students trying to get to Koshien. It'll do I guess.

The battery in my digital camera died about half an hour after arriving at Osaka Castle Park today. So I ended up being a little more careful with the composition of my pictures since there aren't any take-backs with film.

I'm starting to wish I had been able to shoot a couple more test rolls with this camera before I left. Anybody else shoot film? Its been a couple years since I last did, so any advice would be nice.
