I hate how these classes work. we learn vocab that strictly applies to the chapter we're on. this year we've gone through chapters like shopping, childhood experiences, and morning routines. NOT ENTIRELY THE MOST USEFUL. and I've wanted around the world friends for EVRRRRR.

    eventually I'll be asking for french speakers and japanese speakers. but I'm not there yet. any takers? yes? no? yes?

    LOOK AT WHAT I DID!
    Pierced my belly, yes i did! I took @Sohmie with me yesterday so he could get his septum done. Unfortunately, the piercer who does septums wasn't there, so we had to go back today. Worth it! He looks adorable.

    Back to me! So the piercing HURT LIKE A BITCH. OWWWWW. It hurts to bend over or have my clothes rubbing against my tummy. XD A classmate of mine told me it stops hurting after maybe a week and a half, thank god!

    But anyway, I think I'm done for piercings for now. :3 I love my ears, piercing- and size-wise. And I've wanted my belly done for months and months, and now it's done and beautiful! I'm honestly just very content with where I am right now. The only thing bothering me now is my HAIR. It's in the awkward stage. Any shorter, I'd love it. Any longer, I'd love it. Right now it's just bothersome.

    Anyone planning on getting piercings/tattoos/haircuts?

    Check out this painting I did! It's for @Sohmie's 18th birthday. Kick ass! Did you guys know I met Sohma when he was 12?

    I'll give you a moment to process that.

    Yeah, so, these two characters, Q (right) and A (left) have been with us since we started drawing together in 7th grade and making comics together. They were all terrible and we lost interest in them within a few months, but Q+A stuck with us. They're kind of a symbol of our friendship, in a way.

    Tomorrow is the big birthday party shabang, and I can't wait to give this to him!     Lately I... haven't felt myself. Like, maybe I need to find myself. Maybe I need a wardrobe change, maybe I need my hair to hurry and grow another foot. Maybe I ought to start dyeing it into an ombré from brown to black. Maybe I just need to get away. Every day is a repeat, I become irritable more easily, there's absolutely nothing holding me down except time. Daunting time. It holds me down and says, Wait. Wait a little bit longer. It presses me into a corner when I have a heavy workload and says Sorry I can't give more. It sneaks up on you as you're turning into an alley and robs you of your experiences, leaving you with vague memories and a dumbfounded realization that this, too, has passed. And here it is, sitting in front of me, teasing me with expectations of the future, while I'm strapped to reality, waiting. Waiting. Waiting. I need to get out of this place. I need that wardrobe change. I need to pack up my entire room and set out and find myself. I need to spend some time alone, where my actions aren't affected by those around me. I need to relax and be satisfied for once. But then, if I'm satisfied, I'll never reach out to change anything. Lack of satisfaction is good. Floating through passions and obsessions is good. Wanting to do 10 things at once, needing the day to last for 50 hours, wishing for my body to only require an hour of sleep each night, is fantastic. I guess I'll never settle down and feel like myself. And I guess I'll have to wait and see what that feels like, if I'll ever feel like me. I guess I have to wait. Wait. And wait some more. Time is a bitch.

    so last week i was stressing about upcoming AP exams (the ones that happened this week)
    so one of my best friends made me a surprise cheer-up pack that contained the following:
    a happy note, hershey kisses, a strawberry creamsaver, a Mrs. Norris token, and floss
    like wtf but seriously the randomness of it cheered me up LOL

    so now i'm sitting here with the following in front of me:
    construction paper, colored pencils, mesh, and the very same floss that was given to me on that day
