Shhh! Quiet dance party of one in progress...

I'm oh so happy because I recently got back a lot of my records + record player from a former friend. Long story, but the ending is happy!

Only...my roomie, Shelbs, is still at work and everyone else is asleep. But I'll make do. :)

(Oh, and ten points to anyone who can tell me what the album in front is.)

I am not ready for the day yet, so here's a picture from Memorial Day weekend. I went to the river for the first time. It was lovely. And hot as balls. The end.

Last one for the night, perhaps.

I dug this one out from 2007...my how times have changed. Since then, Linda's had a baby and kind of disappeared off the face of the planet. It doesn't help that she lives in New Jersey and I'm over here in California, haha. But we've been friends since we were five, and every now and again I get to thinking about her a lot and wishing I could call her...but I don't have her number anymore.

I hope she's well. I like who we were back then.

I love nights out with friends and the memories that we create (even if it involves getting a drink spilled on me). I'm truly going to miss nights like this one once I move!

Today I awoke to the sound of a cat vomiting. I think it set the tone for my day.

My hair's a mess, I have laundry to do, and a billion things to sort out...but instead I've been reading. Hoping I can find some solutions to my real-life problems through some good ol' fiction.
