Noodle's helping me with graphic design. I'm not particularly good at it so I need all the help I can get.

This is a picture I stumbled across while drunk and looking for something else. It's a picture of my dog Merlin making what we dubbed "beaver face" for no reason I can think of. When he was in his kennel he liked to rest his face on the bars, which would then pull up his upper lip and reveal this ridiculous expression. He was always super confused as to why we laughed so hard, but I think he knew we liked it so he did it fairly regularly. Best dog ever.

I've been really busy the past couple of weeks. Usually I'm pretty low-key, keep to myself, and spend a lot of time at home. I've been out almost every nite lately, and while it's been very fun and a nice change it's absolutely exhausting. Yesterday I just stayed in bed once I was home from work. Almost immediately after getting comfortable and turning on Dollhouse, Noodle came in and snuggled right up to me. He's finally hitting the age where he likes cuddling, and I couldn't be happier.

This arrived for me in the mail yesterday. It's Aiko273/Anna Swiczeniuk's small but amazing photography art book, The Orpheum Circuit. All the images within are (or at least were) available to be viewed without having to purchase the book, but it's pretty much my favourite thing in the world to financially show my love for people's creative works, especially ones who I've been following for years and have taken time to be kind to me over the years.

Still a little overwhelmed. Got some more sleep though, which is good. I watched Milk last nite finally and came very close to crying despite knowing what the outcome was going to be. Milk's story is very moving. I hope someone who was as powerful as he was for human rights comes along sometime soon. It'd be nice if they were related to the trans movement, but that's just wistful thinking on my part.

The past 5 days have been getting increasingly interesting. Everything is fine, I just have a lot of thoughts to think. I hope things start to calm back down again soon, though if my past experiences are any indication it might not happen for a bit.
