"Marmite - you either love it or you hate it" - right? Rubbish. I was always in the hate camp, something I was never happy with. I don't like not liking food. I've previously force-fed it to myself to try and acquire a taste for it without success. I've just been discussing the subject with @AbiHowell and she said the reason I hated it was because I've spread too much of it on my toast. I wasn't convinced, I thought that I know my own taste. So I just got a piece of bread and spread some Marmite on it. I took a deep breath and had a big bite. I loved it! So I got confident and spread some more on the bread, took a big bite and loved it even more! So if you hate it, go buy a jar and try it. Remember, you've got to start with just a tiny amount. The reason people hate it is because they've spread on too much of the stuff. Let me know if you've been converted :-)
