    Please, ladies.. don't get acrylics.
    These are my nails right now, after a few months of acrylics, removing them, and having a few weeks for them to grow out a little.

    Polish doesn't stay on for longer than a day, they don't grow because they're too brittle, and they're just bad to look at.
