What do you wear to bed?
Right now I'm just lounging around, reading and finishing up some homework. The Heritage classic was today in my city, Flames vs. Habs! I live so close to the stadium if can stand outside and faintly hear the announcers. When the snowbirds fly by, they pass RIGHT over my house. It's loud, the ground shakes, It's pretty amazing.

First day back, and already things are piling up >.<
Weekend was pretty good, my sister, cousin and I went shopping and then to a pool party. Most everyone was younger then us but we said 'what the hell' and had a blast xD

So I need some new music. It's been a while since I've downloaded anything, and I'm getting sick of listening to the same songs. Any suggestions live feeders? I've been listening to rock and such lately, but you know what they say about spice and variety :)
First big snowfall of the year. Wore my new scarf in recognition of the occation :D
Which means it's also freezing cold, and will be for the next four months. On the upside, it's the season of skating, steaming mugs of hot chocolate, skiing, curling up by the fireplace, snowball fights, and all sorts of other winter shenanigans . Gotta love Canada, Eh?
For the past little while I've been working on the set carving rocks for my school's production of Once on This Island. They're looking pretty spiffy if I do say so myself. Maybe I'll get a picture one of these days.
Had a blast over the weekend, it's always great to have an excuse to get dressed up. I never appreciated how much I enjoy Halloween until this year, hanging out with my army zombie and skeleton friends and indulging in ridiculous amounts of candy.
Halloween afternoon I found a friendly black cat with no collar in my alley. It was a thing of beauty. I took lots of pictures.

I took a few friends I do not see very often out camping. We went for a hike up this little rarely-used trail I discovered a few years back, which leads to this stunning slot canyon. The walls have been carved smooth by past glaciers and meltwater, it's the forces of nature at their finest. i feel lucky to live less then an hour away from the mountains. I love this place, I try to make it out once every year, and It was even better sharing it with friends.
The trees are turning their fall colors here. It's pretty, but it just reminds me that summer is over and the cold weather is coming. Guess I might as well enjoy the outdoors while it is still warm =)
Going camping this weekend with some friends I have not seen in quite some time now, I'm pretty excited. I'm sure there will be lots of shenanigans and fun times, plus we will be visiting this slot canyon that is too incredible for words. I'll be sure to post pictures when I return.
That's a picture of serious camp hands right there. Yes, I went to summer camp, as a C.I.T (creeper in training ;) ) The Henna was done by me, we bought a kit and set up a "camp ink tattoo" station which the kids enjoyed a bunch. The bracelets were also made by me, I actually made a few more after this picture was taken. Plus, you can't see it too well from this picture, my hand was died rainbow from tie-dye ink

Back to school now, which is a disapointment. Another summer gone. Had a huge party with the family on the weekend as one last hurrah before we all get back into our busy lives.
Yeah, I have not boothed in ages, but despite my less then frequent booths I am on DB almost daily, so feel free to drop me a comment.
Back at home and back to regular, boring daily life now, but he's another picture from the vacation.
It's amazing what you take for granted when you get so used to something. I've lived by the mountains all my life, and only looking back at this photo did I realize how breathtaking this place was.
This was the location of a fire lookout in the past. We hiked up a lot of hills this trip, and it was all worth it.
What do you take for granted about where you live?
Just got back from a two week long vacation in the-middle-of-nowhere, Canada. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, but I'm glad to be back to civilization.
Best parts of the trip- The sandy lake beaches, and the sunsets. When you’re away from the city, there are not any lights to pollute them, and they are spectacular. More pictures in the comments.
On the down side, I missed the 10-day, 'greatest outdoor show on earth' Also known as the Calgary Stampede. It looked pretty kick-ass, but I guess it'll be around next year.
