Heading to work...thinking about a haircut soon. I guess it's about that time. I originally said I was gonna do the hawk through August, so here we are.
As far as the "dextox" is going...it's going. Avoiding processed shit, it's interesting for sure. Even little things you don't think about, like salad dressing. If it's not organic, it has to go.
I came up with this analogy the other day and if you can plug this into you're permanent thought pattern it makes things a little easier. The only gas I've ever put in my Harley is the expensive 93 shit. Now, I don't even think about about putting the other gas in it because I want my bike to last as long as possible and run as good as possible. Now, if we're willing to do that for our vehicles, why do we settle for second rate fuel for our bodies? I could always buy another motorcycle one day...but we only get one body. Oh, you can buy parts...go through surgeries, and hope that works...or you can fuel you're body properly without additives, preservatives, hormones, antibiotics and corn fillers.
Just something to think about until tomorrow...see ya then!!
I went out of town for a week and stayed in Pittsburgh. I was pretty lazy there. I shouldn't have broke my detox, but I did. What's done is done. Right?
Anyhow... I just got done watching a really good documentary called, Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. (The Laurence Haley Story). I'm glad I watched it because it gave me a renewed focus and direction for my detox. I'm up'ing the dextox to 60 days. I will drink nothing but water, and I'm not eating any fried foods either. Lots of veggies, baked or broiled meats..and water. I call it "Cave Man Eating". Seriously, they ate that way and were able to secure the future of the human race (us)...but honestly can our current food choices and lifestyles ensure a future for humanity. I seriously doubt it. We can barely ensure a present for ourselves...time to make a serious change.
