I know you probably mightn't notice, cos I haven't boothed in so long, but I got a spontaneous haircut today and she CHOPPED it. I've easily lost six inches. Had I known the split ends I was asking to get cut off went up so high, I might have revised my request...

Day 5 Looking considerably better, swelling almost completely gone, so I could wear eye makeup today huzzah! Skin still quite pink, and actual eyeball still completely red in the corner you can't see - burst capillary or something we figure.. but the only bruising left is a bit brown on the eyelid and underneath.. this is excellent news! I could be back to Norman by next week! =D

Cutface Day 3: Just when it's starting to look a little less frightening, my skin starts to crack and therefore starts bleeding, cos I've been making too many facial expressions (surely this isn't right? How is this a healing process if it just fails and starts again??) and a horrified mother informs me that the side of my eye is all "gross and red when you look over that way", which I see now it is.
That's the problem with eyes, you can't look at them, because what would you look with?
Will this disgustingness never end??

No.

Therefore I pass it on. It's like The Ring. Now YOU can suffer the indignity of sunglasses in a darkened classroom!!

Day 2 of Black Eye.. not yet an official one, but the bruising is starting to show around my eyebrow and under my eye, where my usual dark circle is all puffed out and strange looking... and hurts like billy-o. I never noticed how much the skin around your eye moves til it can't anymore..
OH WELL! Await an exciting new update tomorrow!!

So I was a complete knobend today. I was changing a song on my phone while going down steps in college, missed a step and fell. On my face.
Typical. I've always fallen on my face - I've been told as a young child they tried to teach me to fall properly, ie put my fucking hands out, but to no avail.
So apparently I'm going to get a black eye, and it's going to get worse for the first couple of days, fantastic. So I think it's important to chronicle its progress.
Also to explain why I'm going to be wearing sunglasses in college tomorrow, most likely into lectures *ledgebag*. But I just don't not do eye make up. It's just not an option. So sunglasses it is!

This is going to be fucking hilarious...

On the bus home from the Arts Ball, both wasted and exhausted, and people have mcdonalds And are not giving me it! HJNGRU!!! That means hungry in drunk.. I typed italIan automatically, what does that say?

Hero and I are having a night in with snuggies, Chinese and Doctor Who =D it's that episode with the slitheen, which I strongly dislike, mostly cos the main features are fat people and farting, doesn't exactly make for quality viewing.. =P

First day back at college today since like what, the 3rd December or something? The first snow anyway.. Though technically I'm not counting it, cos I only have one class and it's Italian, so not making much of an effort, but tomorrow I have actual lectures and will be seeing people and so forth, so I'll try then.. I also have an exam tomorrow night, because my last exam before Christmas was cancelled, again because of the snow, so instead I get to do it tomorrow, after putting in a whole day of college. Tuesdays are my longest days I think, 11am - 4pm! That's a lot for an arts student! Also a 9am start on a Wednesday? Considering I only really go out on Tuesday nights, this is very bad news indeed! But one lecture on Thursdays and Fridays off, so it's not too bad I suppose...

Anyways, expect to see more of me, my new year's resolution is to get back online, after more or less a year off (with the exception of facebook and twitter, obviously, because I'm not inhuman). I spent last night beginning the immense catch up on videos, for there are many, so I should be caught up by Februrary, when I go back to Lanzarote and can get my video camera charger, cos my battery is flat and without help atm.. oh well.
This may interfere somewhat with my other resolution to actually work in college and don't let it become the epic fail (literally) it was this semester. Academically I mean of course, socially it was kickass, but may not be the best thing to invite amazing people like @sydneykav to Dublin when I should be writing essays worth 60% of my final grades. Particularly when I got those essay titles literally WEEKS before...

But yes, fresh start! New year! Things to learn, people to see, videos to watch (hooray) and inevitably after sitting on my ass for a month, weight to lose.. but I'm back to yoga tonight - we'll see how that goes, I don't doubt painfully - and I'm starting one of those "dancerise" type classes with Mum and April soon too, Rumba or Zumba or Mumba or something. That will definitely be interesting.

But yes, sorry for the long post, but it has been a long time, and I missed you! =P
