I dyed my hair last week. Actually, I bleached it last week. Since it already had hair dye in it, it turned out rather orangey. But I'm okay with this.
My coworker has dubbed me "Pond" as a result.2 commentsMay 3rd, 2010

My friend Brian, with his epic Left 4 Dead hoodie. Look out Brian! There's a Boomer behind that door!

Went outside to take some pictures - was horribly cold because of the wind. I took this on my new mobile (an LG GW620)....hard to find the shutter button when it's face away from you - and it's on a touch screen!

So....there's this certain guy at work, who is an extremely snazzy dresser, adorable as heck. Somehow this has made me get it into my head that makeup is a good thing.
So...after watching @Petrilude for the entire evening, I finally worked up some courage to start messing around with the makeup I do in fact own.
This is the result. Hmmm...2 commentsNovember 15th, 2009

Got the specs, got the screwdriver. Suits hanging in the closet, and the converse are on my feet. I have a decent selection of companions to choose from.
All I need now is a Tardis, two hearts, and an Arch Nemesis. And a decent British accent.1 commentOctober 15th, 2009

No, I didn't get new glasses. I wish.
However, I found these in the dollar store, and they make for an exceptional pair of Doctor Who glasses! <30 commentsOctober 12th, 2009

There's this thing where I live called the Langley Good Times Cruise In. Which is a huge-ass car show and shine, that takes over the entire Langley downtown second weekend every September.
Since it's sort of a '50's type thing....I did my hair a-la-Elvis today. :D
....It's also practice for Halloween. Since I'm going as the Doctor. He does a pompadour for the episode Idiots Lantern. I'm hoping to get my good friend Caitlin to go as Rose, in the Idiots Lantern costume. :D Have to find a decent blonde wig though.0 commentsSeptember 12th, 2009

@johngreen wanted to know what people are reading, so I posted this to that thread....
I work in a bookstore.
Books were an addiction before I worked in a bookstore.
It's just gotten worse. :P
You can see here:
Cathy's Key by Sean Stewart - interesting series that has nothing to do with Vampires or Zombies. Except the immortality bit. The hard cover copies come with bits of Cathy's "evidence" in a pocket in the cover, so it adds a nice depth to the stories, being able to look at the things she talks about.
An Abundance of Katherine's by John Green. He really is a good author. I think I might have liked Looking for Alaska more though.
Hamlet (No Fear Edition) - Why? Because I feel the need to read the play. Simple as that. Everyone can use a dose of the Bard once in a while.
Doctor Who: The Eyeless & Beautiful Chaos (not seen). I've read books based on movies and TV series before (Indiana Jones? FAIL!) and the Doctor Who books are actually pretty good.
Picture of Dorian Grey. I watched League of Extraordinary Gentlemen a while back, and he was my favorite character. So I picked up the book el' cheapo so I could read the original story.
Pile of books about Scotland and the UK....Because I'm planning on moving half way across the world to live in Edinburgh in about a year, so reading up on the places I want to live seems like a good idea. That Living and Working in Britain one has a plethora of good information. Only one of it's kind too. >.<0 commentsSeptember 9th, 2009
