This is a photograph I took of the Dr. Howe-Waffle house in Santa Ana, CA, combined with one of my other favorite architectures, the towering, ornate gate to our large Vietnamese community, called Little Saigon.

Dr. Howe-Waffle was the first female doctor in Orange County, CA, and lived in this house named after in the late 1800's.

One of my recurring themes in my art is that the the combining of cultures leads to greater beauty.

And, I think, it accurately reflects my feelings lately, so was glad when I found it.

    NICE KITTY!!!

I do love this artist's work so, Louis Wain.
And certainly one of the more interesting men, in art circles, that one could meet. Wish that I had. =)

My Aunt Ginnie came to my house recently to dinner. I think you can see how thrilled I was to have my picture taken.
I have some other relatives up north, but no other relatives near by.
It's too bad 'cause I love my family.
But I love my immediate family, and--yay!-- I get to see them this Christmas!!!

And a detail of the cameo and locket.
There is a lot more detail in this painting than the photo shows. I used a photo editor to try to bring some of the detail back, but it is just a beit better/

This is a detail of a painting I made about trichotillia, (I refuse to add mania--- it is a...) disorder.

Hello, friends, and other interesting people.
I have been meaning to explain my very confusing writings for the last couple of weeks.
Turns out I might have had a stroke. My symptoms were falling down, passing out, a blindingly painful week-long migraine-like headache, confusion with small math problems, and forgetfullness.
Anyhow my doctor was pretty concerned as all of the above tend to add up too stroke, so he arranged for me to get a CAT scan. But they told me at the hospital lab that it would be a few weeks before we would know anything.
And because strokes run on both sides of my family.
So, he told me to take it easy until we learn more, and as you can see in the rather terrible photo I took, that's what I'm doing.
Oh, and taking lots of vitamin, calcium with Vitamin D, fish oil supplements as well as a herbal supplementcayenne pepper that can help those with stroke (thank you, @five4orever).
The doctor also tyold me all those symptoms could indicate heart atacks--which yes also rung in the family.
So, here is a picture of me cheerfully taking it easy.

I feel a need for a little "outer" space, as my house, I've just recently realized, is feeling a little like a trap to me, I think. I guess, I wish I could travel a bit like I used to.
So, here definitely, is some outer space, represented by one of the loveliest sights inthe universe, the Orion Nebula.

One of only 2 art classes I didn't take that wished I had--Stained glass.
I would still love to try it.
This one of the Holy Spirit (the 3rd aspect of God in the Trinity), is one of my favorites
