    This has been my day.

    In honour of Leverage starting again on Sunday (in the US anyway), I've been having a marathon. With pizza. And wine. But you can't see the pizza cause, well, I ate it already. Anyway, I love this show! So excited for new episodes. :D There are so few really good shows still on the air, it's a shame.

    I finally have my own ghds again. I needed these so bad. Using my other pair felt like pulling my hair out with a pair of clamps, and my hair is so uncomfortable (not to mention ugly) without straightening it.

    Anyway, vanity aside, life's been pretty quiet lately. Nothing to report.

    This is me trying to ignore @jamieneish while he plays with the camera on my new iPhone. We were supposed to be having coffee, but he was having none of it! He does like taking photos of me at the worst possible moment, so I guess it didn't end too badly this time.

    I'm back in Edinburgh now though, after a few days away for his birthday. It was great, but I have exams next week, so I couldn't stay for long. Luckily, we prioritised getting drunk with @coolascheese and @jaay89. @jamieneish had lost his ID at one point, and I can't tell if he was more annoyed at the fact it was missing, or that he's now obviously old enough that he didn't even get asked for it. Poor thing. :P

    Naked Snake, reporting for duty.

    I've been playing through the Metal Gear Solids lately, and I'm loving it. Just starting Snake Eater tonight. I think it's my favourite of the four. Any other Metal Gear fans out there? I'm going to try and get @jamieneish into it over the holidays.

    I was just about to head into town to pick up Pokemon Black when the postman came along and brought me this beauty. I'm SO happy I finally own this CD set - I adore the woman. And this thing came out when I was five, so it's kind of tricky to get a hold of. But now it's MINE and I don't care that nobody I know seems to know or care who she is. Carly Simon is a goddess.

    And now I have to brave the hurricane outside and go get me some Pokemon.

    I finally got myself a 4th Gen Pokemon game! (SoulSilver doesn't really count.) For some reason, Diamond was more expensive than Pearl. But I got it cheap, so I didn't really mind. I was a little worried at first - the interface is mega-clunky and the starters are all a bit crap, but I was won over when the traditional level 2 bird Pokemon was so cute. Then I came across a Shinx and knew that everything was going to be ok.

    Had a great Valentine's with @jamieneish. We had pizza, drank wine, and made Phoebe's Grandmother's Cookies. They involved far more chocolate than can possibly be healthy. Sent him back off to Edinburgh tonight though. (He took the cookies with him, unfortunately.)

    Just watched The Brits. It was a surprisingly decent ceremony. I'm always happy to see The Arcade Fire and Laura Marling to get as much recognition as possible. Adele totally stole the show with a breathtaking rendition of Someone Like You. Love her.

    Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

    I know this'll be seen by approximately 2 of you, but that's what I get for posting at 2:19 AM.

    I've been watching awards all evening. First was the BAFTAs, which were excellent. I was quite happy to see The King's Speech sweep the board. And then, The Grammys. Well, I only really watched the start for Gaga's performance.

    She. Nailed. It.

    Anyway, what's that I'm holding so close to my chest, you ask? Well.... It's a secret. It's a present for a certain Jamie tomorrow. I hope he likes it...

    Saw Jamie off back to Edinburgh this morning, then went out to Glasgow with my mum. We went out for lunch with some of my family, then to the cinema. I'm determined to get as many people to see The King's Speech as possible. Back now though. It was bloody freezing out there.
