I'm quite chipper even though I woke up at 6:20 this morning! Normally you wouldn't find me so happy about being such an early riser on a Saturday, but today I have a good reason to smile. My boyfriend had a check-up today and I got to go with him and his brother to see how his eyes are doing. He is just fine, thank goodness. Within a few weeks he might be able to go back to work! But more importantly, he'll be living in his apartment which means he'll be closer to me again. ^-^
This is a picture from 3-1-11 on my six month anniversary with Adam. It was very romantic and lots of fun! Last night Adam needed emergency surgery on his eye because of severe retina detachment. I was in the hospital with him all day yesterday and after the surgery I took care of him until his mom picked him up today to take him home with her in order to give him the 24-hour care he will be needing for the next three weeks. It's definitely good to have the lovely memory of our anniversary to hold on to when things get rough.
