    this was my first picture here on dailybooth and, for now, it will be my last. so much has changed since I first got on dailybooth, I mean, look at my bulletin board then, and look at it now. I don't know, I felt it was a good indication of things changing.

    I came on dailybooth for the first time back on March 31, 2010 because I had seen it on some random youtube channel. At the time, I was completely in the closet. I had tried so hard for so long to hide the fact that I was gay, trying to be someone I wasn't. More importantly, trying to not be the person I was. I then decided that Dailybooth would be a challenge to myself, to find out who the person I was hiding - really was. And, at the same time, be friends with people with whom I could be myself with no worries. It was a cynical thought, but I figured that if I didn't get along with somebody, I would just delete them. No worries in cyberspace. Finally, it would be a place I could turn to when I couldn't turn anywhere else.

    On July 25, 2010, with some encouragement from @IZZIE_BIZZIE I came out of the closet for the first time. Since then, I've told a total of 5 people. I guess I could say Dailybooth served its purpose for me, at least the purpose I had originally set out with. So it feels right to leave it now, so I can focus on the life that Dailybooth has helped me create for myself.

    @CeeJay3315 I think you live closest to me out of everyone, but still hundreds of miles away! D: You're wonderful, and I hope we'll still be friends. text me sometime!
    @jc_rocket jeez dude. you're amazing. and, of course, you live on the other side of the US. I can't even remember the number of times we skyped, and I loved them all. I don't know what I would have done without you at the time.
    @stephenjmed right after we met, you suddenly got really, really popular, so I never got that chance to talk to you a lot. but you're an amazing person, just saying.
    @effingtravis almost one of the first people I really started talking to on here. Your life sounds magical in the Big Apple, and you deserve every second of it, buddy.
    @akisasori you don't really come on here anymore either. But I guess you may see this at some point. It was nice talking to you Al, when we did. Hope everything goes your way over there in the Windy City!

    picture says it all (even though i'm all awkwardly small compared to my hand).

    i'm taking a break from dailybooth. i won't say i'm quitting because I know how annoying it gets when people quit and come back a thousand times. random social networking has taken up a lot of my life and i want to get back on track, so i need to do some cutting away. i'll come back if i have time, but it was nice while I was on it.

    Hello! hope everyone's having a good day.

    Good news: I got my Yale interview scheduled today, hopefully it'll go well.
    Amazing news: I got accepted into USC (University of Southern California) today!

    Confession, I actually got the letter a few days ago, I just didn't open it. NOT because I was scared, but because I had forgotten I applied to USC and thought it was a college pamphlet thing. Anyways, great how things turn out like that!

    two days ago, I met this guy on manroulette (lol, just like chatroulette) and then we got disconnected. I'm considering if I've ever been this sad, disappointed, regretful. eh.

    so today's reason why I got all jazzed up: my harvard interview :)

    My interviewer, this woman, is pretty much living the life that I want, and I am living the life that she had in high school. So we had, like, an immediate connection. It was awesome. Hopefully I get in. BLEH.
