Finally back in Hong Kong!
Yesterday, was my 18th birthday
Flew back to Hong Kong first thing in the morning, had brunch with parents and then afternoon tea with my two best friends (@yamster is the one in the picture with me) at Sevva. The view was beyond amazing and the food was great.
I had dinner at TGI Friday's and one of my friends told the waitress it was my birthday so she bought over a bowl of ice cream with a candle and gave me a balloon and told me to stand on the chair while the entire restaurant sang happy birthday. It was too funny.
Thank you to everyone who gave me birthday wishes on dailybooth and to those who bombarded my facebook too.
Today I was so busy with errands, I had to give up my macbook for a week for repairs =(
So glad to be home, no more internet censorship!

Just chilling by West Lake in Hangzhou
Nothing too interesting, craving Starbucks real bad, went twice and stopped by a Costa the other day. I dont want to pack for home.
Its funny, I tell people I miss home, when I really miss Hong Kong. I actually dont even want to go back home at all.

This is my pissed/angry face.
Yesterday I got a long distance call from home and I ended arguing about whether or not Im still going to Bangkok the following week. Apparently because of that stupid bomb incident I can't go. I dont know how many times is it already, but every time I open my mouth and say I wanna go to Bangkok and literally right before I book my ticket, some shit happens, either a bomb or a protest breaks out.... ARGGG
Its my birthday after all... I was looking so forward to leaving the country...
On the side note, today was spend being a tourist and I tried to channel my anger through eating food and buying souvenirs.
Goanna miss this mansion that I've been calling home.

Chilling at "home" - yes the place I call home in mainland for china for two weeks is massive.
Watching tv in the living room, everything is so big here. But I absolutely love it, its got a touch of british art deco.
Doesn't everyone just love those cheesy asian dramas? My sister and I watch it all the time here, I swear I'm a addicted.
What has everyone else been up to?

YAWN YAWN! Ello everybody!
I'm still in China at the moment, finally all caught up with dailybooth, its been like facebook and youtube rehab here. Haven't done much today but watch Pretty Little Liars and go on db.
The other day I went out to West Lake in Hangzhou to be a tourist, the weather was beyond nice and my sister I visited an aquarium - rather disappointing, then sat around in the park, went to Starbucks for an hour. Met up with our friend for lunch, had Ding Tai Fung missed it so much and walked in this new mall that was big and empty and had shops that gave off a Hong Kong vibe.
Up there is a pic of me stretching in Starbucks, we were here about six years ago with my family and that time we stole a rock from outside, to this day its sitting in our fish tank. This time we stole another one for my brother and decided to name the pet rock Nat Tran.
flying home in a week!

Havent done much lately, still in China living it up.
Having chinese food every day and night, its a tad bit stomach filling and its always hot outside so I'm always inside.
There's a huge teddy bear in the house Im staying at, I thought I would take a picture of it.
Anyone wanna call me up on Skype or iChat?

Ello from Shanghai!
I have been so deprived of internet access for the past few days of my stay in China, apparently the government decided to block everything American & HK, eg. facebook, twitter, yahoo HK etc. But they forgot about dailybooth.
Today was a super busy day, I got into Shanghai last night by train from Hangzhou and im leaving tomorrow night. This morning I went to Expo 2010 around 8ish to try and get a quota for the Chinese Pavillion but it was gone, so I ended up going to five different ones namely: New Zealand, France, Ireland, Austria, and Netherlands; and there different countries' restaurants: Australia, Ireland, and Netherlands.
Afterwards I went over to Xintiandi for dinner, super tourisy location, love it there. Lastly went to The Bund to look at night lights.
Here's a picture of my sitting on the HSBC lion.
Goanna get up tomorrow morning to go to Expo again around 6am to get a quota to get into the China pavillion. Another long day coming up.

NEW CAMERA!
Finally I got a new camera, its a tiny little Canon but it works wonders. All my photos come out really crisp and sharp. The night shots are even better.
Yesterday was my very last day at work and I bought my camera. It started to scream low battery in the morning and I was scared that I wouldn't be able to take pictures of all the children, but it lasted all day. I wanted to cry when all the kids were hugging me goodbye. I didn't even want to let go of my favorite student.
Came home skyped with @akisasori & @ianiz before falling into a deep nap. I dreamt that I was teaching the kids again. Woke up and went to have japanese curry with some friends from Cali and got froyo for dessert. Yesterday was a good day.
Need to pack now. arg
