Friday, my friend Leah and I got the privilege to watch the documentary The Ride and meet Phil Keoghan (host of the Amazing Race). Talk about an inspirational movie and inspirational man! He raised half of a million dollars for Multiple Sclerosis!
His friend, Rod, who he used to bike with has been emailing me his journal entries from when they when on the Ragbrai trip. (Driving from NJ to Iowa and then biking across Iowa.) Insane? Yes. Amazing. Absolutely.
These emails are the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for me.

i am thinking, if i was going to kidnap someone the ransom i would choose would be bananas. i really love bananas.

so the sun is bright. i am freezing. but i love where i am. 10th floor of the library. completely silent. i am pretty proficient when i am here. except for night now of course. but i promised i would booth. so here i am boothing. be proud of me!

I came over her house to hang with her one last time but apparently I'm just more muscle for lifting and packing. I feel so loved. :P
