throat is on fire.
I woke up today with no voice and a burning throat. drugged myself up good and been trying to keep the pain away all day. @hudi came by and I shot a few things for Design Theory. had a nap, had some food, worked on my folio for my Creativity class. I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this project. thinking I'll watch the Prestige before bed!

I don't know if I'm going to ever going to be able to booth daily again!
at the moment I'm sick, broke and flooded in homework. I stayed home tonight for those 3 reasons and watched Drive. great film!
ok, since we last spoke, I went out with Adam, Kirsty and some dudes they knew. we went from China Town to Lane's Edge, Madame Brussels and Carlton Club. it was such a fun night. the next day, I felt like absolute shit! I'd had no sleep and was really hungover. I fell asleep in my afternoon lecture 3 times... my bad. the next day Adam texted me in the morning and asked to hang out that afternoon so we got some food with Kirsty at Vegie Bar. the burrito I had was incredible! that brings us to, Thursday? I went to Billboards with @georgialvh @allyy @BEEETH @michaelTHREE and Mitch. was lots of fun! spent lots of money and got really drunk. the photos from it are HILARIOUS. now yesterday I went to lunch with Priscilla before meeting up with lots of people for coffee. from there we trained into Hawthorne to watch this guy we know play an acoustic set. Beth and I lost pool to Georgia and Michael. worst. I woke up this morning with my throat on fire so I've been shitty all day. I've been working on homework. folio work is actually fun so I'm not really complaining.

damn, I'm sucking at Dailybooth.
well since my last few a couple of big things happened so I'll skip the boring stuff. Thursday I went to the LostProphets/VersaEmerge show with @hudi to see Versa. I saw Adam out the front before the gig and said hey. watched the band, they were alright, the sound was a little shit. Blake through his pick out to the crowd and it landed at my feet. ran around the corner to The Hi-Fi to watch The Summer Set/The Ready Set/A Rocket To The Moon. @elizaclaire7 joined me. couldn't ask for a better partner at a gig. Summer Set were great. after their set Adam had rocked up so we chatted to him and watched the rest of the bands. Afterwards I headed to Carlton Club with my sisters and slept at Sophie's.

Friday was Soundwave! Soph and I listened to You Me At Six on Like A Version when we woke up. Shan came by and we headed to the tram. watched LostProphets first and from then on watched about 13 or 14 bands! it was incredible! everyone sounded amazing and I had prime viewing for most sets. I was so exhausted by the end I wanted to pass out.

Saturday was recovery. I started to get fluey so I didn't want to move.

Sunday was Adam's workshop! it went from 11-5 and it was great! he covered everything about the music photography industry and how he's made it. he gave out some DVDs and bracelets at the end. I helped him pack his shit up and walked with him to the station

Today, Monday, I spent the morning at home with Shan and Lola. I skipped my lecture to go get lunch with Adam at 1000 Pound Bend. So cool to spend some time with the guy. I came home for dinner and more recovery. I'm still feeling fluey and wrecked from Soundwave but now I'm heading back into the city to meet Adam for some food and drinks. should be fun! tomorrow won't be as much.... luckily @thomasmars agreed to come pick me up from the city tonight! woo!

finished The Hunger Games! AMAZING!
headed into Uni this morning, happily reading my book on the bus. we did some basic exposure theory in Camera Prac before walking around Southbank shooting and seeing the changes in Histrograms. I spent my break by the Yarra reading. I was at such an intense part when I got to Uni I had to keep reading through break. in Building Creativity we presented our images and things that inspire us. I educated the class in Comics. god, I'm a geek. haha. got a text from someone I don't every day - an international photographer who is possibly my greatest inspiration. loving life! headed home reading. finished the book in bed after dinner. Dad made the hottest curry. oh my god it was amazing! tomorrow I have morning class and that's it :D

I was actually having a good hair day today until I was caught in the way on the way home from dinner!
today was horrible weather. overcast, humid and muggy. ugh. I didn't have Uni in the morning so I chilled at home with Lola. read Hunger Games on the bus into the city. IT'S GETTING INTENSE! had an easy 2 hour lecture with a good group of people. one of the girls made cupcakes for us! best! after that I headed home and read more Hunger Games. SO INTENSE! as soon as I was home I read more! I went to dinner with my sisters and Mum. a little unsatisfying. food was so good but I didn't eat all day so I was starving! ducked into Max Brenner to say hi to everyone. was caught in the rain on the way to the car. just sent out an email to a photographer in town, hoping to catch up while he's here!

I missed yesterday! crap! not much happened. woke up feeling hungover. went to a house inspection. spent the rest of the day on Tumblr/reading comics because it was boiling outside. my house was so stuffy I got a migraine and spent the night at home.
today I went to Shoppingtown with Sophie for a bit while she picked up a couple of things. came home to Tumblr and comics again. livin' the life. I start at 2 tomorrow. woo!

last night's booth!
I had a chilled Friday at home. caught up on some comics reading + Hunger Games. I went for a walk to get some shots for Uni and made the bad decision of taking Lola with me. she wanted to stop and sniff everything or sit in the shade so I didn't get many photos. also, I didn't realise how hot it was when I left! apparently it got to 40 degrees. @georgialvh took me to @NickFOUR's 18th. with free beer available I got really drunk. had lots of fun seeing everyone from school!

first week of Uni is over! so far I'm loving my course! my subjects are interesting and my lecturers are all so motivated! today I had my first Digital Lab class which felt like my first VET class 2 years ago. essentially I sat in a Mac Lab for 3 hours and listened to my lecturer run through the VERY basics of Mac OS X and Photoshop. so, it wasn't actually a great class but it was necessary one for all the jerks on PCs. anyway, on my break I sat along Southbank by the Yarra and ate my lunch and read more of The Hunger Games (which @georgialvh got me onto!) in other words, bliss. I went back for my first Design Theory class which was interesting. to finish off we went to the NGV. I found it ironic considering in Year 12 we had to plan weeks in advance and worry about permission slips and transports. not at Uni, it's literally around the corner haha!

day 2 of my return!
also day 2 of my Uni assigned 365. I'm using Instagram for the convenience. it'll also keep more committed than if I had to use my DSLR. you can follow it at http://anywhere-everywhere.tumblr.com/ :D

I had the morning off so I slept in a little. played with Lola who's getting big. she's more of a piglet than a bulldog. I went to Typo with Shan to pick up some notebooks for Uni. made my way into the city. it's still at the awkward phase where I don't know anyone well enough. I sat out on the terrace on my phone before class. from the eavesdropping I did some of the people in my course are so boring so I'm not bothered by the fact I'm not hanging out with them... I am getting along with one guy, Alec. he's my age and he's normal (unlike plenty of other people!) my class was good! it's all about lighting and using available light on location and eventually studio lighting. I came home to some left over burritos before going for a walk around my neighbourhood with my camera. now to curl up with some Misfits I think :D

long time, no booth!
my last upload was on the 6th and it's now the 21st... my bad. I haven't been bothered to booth since I got back from Phillip Island and it's been hard to get back into it. who knows how long I'll be around for after today...

so, I went to Phillip Island for a week. I had SO much fun! it was great to spend time with everyone. when I came home I had my 5D delivered! it's amazing but that goes without saying. I don't think I can actually express how much I love it. I'm actually shooting with a professional camera now! I also went to a Brewery Tour on Saturday with Dad, my sisters and my cousin! went to James' 21st and @hudi turned 18! so lots has been happening. oh, and one last thing, I'm now at Uni! CRAZY! I've only had 2 days but they've been good. everybody's been feeling super awkward because we don't know each other yet and we haven't settled in properly. I'm looking really forward to the rest of the year! :D
