I liked Doctor Who before you did...just sayin'
These comics are from the mid eighties. I wonder if they're worth anything.
-
I've never seen Doctor Who >.<
-
-
DW fans unite!!!
-
i haven't seen doctor who. :-/
-
OMG You win. I've only been a Doctor Who fan for, like, a semester.
-
-
Mid-eighties? In that case, you've liked Doctor Who longer than I've been alive.
-
-
-
Doctor Who rules!!!
-
You and your comics.
I enjoy that face.
Insanely adorable. -
@karenkavett Yeah, same here. -_-
-
@fizzylimon I've been a fan only a little longer than you. I feel so far behind, but I'm trying to catch up.
-
Yeah, I'm the same as @karenkavett.
Not that I can blame you - Doctor Who pwns! -
-
OMG! You like Doctor Who? That's my favorite show of all time!
It's the best! -
4 and his scarf are indeed amazing!
-
-
-
Only because I was yet to be conceived!
-
-
I'll start the bid at $50
-
-
I saw the first episode of Doctor Who. It was good, but I have an irrational fear of dolls and mannequins. I don't think I'll be watching again. *shudders*

You only need to have LIKED the old series to have liked it longer than me, I wasn't even born before they closed it down. I saw the movie in 1996 though, and then went on to see episodes my mom taped off PBS
-
awww nooo keep them. 4th doctor is the best doctor
-
-
-
-
-
AWESOME!!!
I could never find those in my town, but my comic purchases back then came from the local grocery store.
And when I did discover "the comic book shop", they never had any Who.
I was relegated to catching marathons during PBS telethons. Who's with me!!? -
lol I agree with @karenkavett
BUT I started watching when it first revamped in 05. Proud of myself there.
I want to read DW comics... -
Say hello to my little Fivey friend... it kinda makes me sad to think that Doctor Who was cancelled the year i was born.
@regularguy5mb PBS reruns FTW! I watched most of McCoy that way. and with bits and pieces of Baker and Davison too.Dec. 30th, 2009

If anyone, anywhere is interested in taking up Doctor Who, I recommend a visit to
http://thisweekindoctorwho.blogspot.com for complete listings of Classic/Current Doctor Who (including PBS) week by week.
Hank if you want to know the value of the comics I recommend a visit to http://www.gallifreybase.com or the forums at http://www.drwho-online.co.uk (better known as DWO) (free registration required) where you can discuss all thngs Who including comics and their values. -
Well being an old man I can definately say I liked Dr Who before you. I can remember hiding behind the sofa when I was a dis watching Jon Pertwee battling daleks on a Saturday night when they were first broadcast.
Thanks for reminding me of that. I feel really old now!! -
They're not allowed to sell those comics here because of merchandising rules!

Is that Doctor #4, Tom Baker I see on the front of those comics?
Instant Who win. -
-
yeah but... I wasn't born in the '80s, that's not fair D:
I've spent the last few days constantly watching Doctor Who, getting through all the seasons xD -
well
my dad was born in the 60's
an he like doctor who in the 60's
so ha! -
PWND!
You and Liam Lynch. But he might beat you, because I'm pretty sure he's older. -
You do have a slight age advantage over me.....HOWEVER. i will say I do love my old who. (yay netflix!)
-
I still have to watch Doctor Who. My sister got Series 1 and Series 2 for Christmas. So I think I'll just start by watching those.
-
-
Wow, I didn't know that they showed Doctor Who on American TV back then . . .
They'd probably be worth a bit, but even more if you hold onto them for a couple of decades :) Depends how much the departure of The Tennant drives up ebay prices :) -
Do you watch New Who at all, Hank?
I didn't know you were a fan! :) xx -
That's not fair! I wasn't BORN until the late eighties!
-
While Tom Baker is the SECOND best, David Tennant will always be my Doctor.
Also, we've got better toys nowadays, so watch out. Daleks do not accept apologies, and this baby's remote controlled. Haha.Dec. 30th, 2009

9 is my doctor, but I have a very soft spot for 4 and 5. 10 is cute. Awesome...easy, but cute. I'm also a fan of 8 - mostly the audio dramas, though.
-
@justcallme_E: Well, other than the '96 movie and comic strips, 8 only exists in audio dramas.
-
-
You're right.
-
I'll buy them for a MILLION DOLLARS. If I had a million dollars, which I don't. Cause in 17. But hey, mr ten-inch is the best of them all... Just sayin.. He also (by chance ONLY) happens to be the hottest. I think I'm gonna cry tomorrow. Scratch that. I KNOW I'm gonna cry tomorrow. Have the tissues ready *mentalnote*
-
Ummmm... My preacher liked Doctor Who before you did! That's all I've got.
-
@regularguy5mb this I know. What I meant is I prefer the audio dramas to the movie. :P
-
-
I just bought a new Doctor Who comic the other day!!!
-
Aaand Liam Lynch is pretty intense about his obsession: http://www.yfrog.com/froggy.php?username=lynchland
-
They probably are.
-
it scares me a little bit that those comics and i are about the same age... :/
-
@hankgreen i've been a dw fan since 6th may 1986! life long baby!
-

and probably sell it all on ebay -
Yeah you definitely do win. I was not born yet. And according to my mom my obsession has only been going on for like 3 weeks although it feels like a year. XD
-
-
