Blog with excuses -->http://bit.ly/9OL17w
Looking alright considering I didn't bother to get dressed today... If you feel perfectly fine, can you still blame laziness on a hangover??
Hanging in bed (with Blue, one of the coolest fictional dogs ever! [don't judge]) considering how it should be sleep time, but dreading the fact that sleep brings us closer to "tomorrow" - a day in which I have to meet a new manager.
Some people would consider that a good thing - meeting new people is fun and exciting, etc - but I'm not that good with new people. I'm the kind of person you grow to love, so first impressions rarely work in my favour...
So, uh, tonight was my nephew's 14th birthday dinner. These sorts of occasions always make me feel like I'm stuck in a rut - always the same people, always the same awkward "hello, how are you?" bullshit conversations.
On another note, I am hugely lazy, and haven't updated my blog for way too long. As a recent returner to the internet, I wasn't around for the VEDA/BEDA thing that went around last April, and as such, wasn't fully aware for this April. I'd had a thought, which was probably lame anyways, that I would do (what I've decided to call) VEDABEDM, where I would choose someone's VEDA video, and discuss it in my blog - one per day throughout May. Today is the first of May - I have no such blog post... Maybe I could start a day late, like @hankgreen did with his VEDA, although it's not like he really completed VEDA properly anyways :P
And, on a side note, I always wonder if my use of the word "anyways" annoys the grammar Nazis... Hmmm, a lot to ponder
So it would seem that the universe thinks my last picture was so shit it delivered my package FOUR days early!! Yay Doctor Who & Torchwood!!I had bought the four DVDs at the bottom of this picture to get me through those four days though...
So it turns out that I am lazy and totally non-committal. Even this picture is pretty ass.
How was everyone's Easter weekend? I know right - that's sooo two days ago - but, yeah, lazy and non-committal.
I spent the majority of my four days off watching How I Met Your Mother. AWESOME! And now I've just come home from work and watched the first series of Secret Diary of A Call Girl.
A couple of pictures back (and in a recent blog post) I mentioned "package anticipation". Yet again, I am waiting for stuff to arrive in the post! And yes, it's more TV on DVD... I have no life!!
My stepfather started to build a 1:350th scale model of the Titanic about a year after the movie came out (in 1997 for those not as freakish as me). I would say "built" except it's still not 100% complete - we're not a family of "finishers", and it's probably why I'm relatively useless at completing blog posts (based on the idea that procrastination is nurture, not nature). Every one just accepts that the model, whether it gets finished or not, is mine. Here's to hoping I don't inherit an incomplete replica!
