I stayed up until like five in the morning watching period movies. I watched that one about the connoisseur who falls in love with a guy named marco. I think her name is Veronica. And then she has sex with king Henry of France and Marco hates her for it even though she fucking saved her country militarily, and saved HIS life too for that matter, seeing as she got Italy like 500 ships. And then she was put on trial when that religious conquest or whatever came to Venice (oh yes this was set in Venice I forgot to mention that, in like the early 1600's, late 1500's. Something like that.) but they only came because they thought there was disease there because of the connoisseurs and their witchcraft (basically they've "bewitched" all the important men or some b.s. like that.) and yeah that movie was okay, except for the ending.
I also watched Vanity Fair, which frankly sucked. I respect Reese Witherspoon but cmon girl. That movie was all over the place tbh. They should have set their priorities differently. I know it's based off a book and everything, so I kinda don't want to read the book because of that. I now know I'm going to be dissatisfied with the ending, and the fact she doesn't end up with the guy from tutors OR her hot husband, but the fat guy with the intricately snipped facial-hair.
Oh and I watched Room With a View, which I THOUGHT I heard was good from my mum, but I wasn't sure whether it was right or not. So I watched it and lol'd my ass off. It was really hilarious.
Today I think I'll watch more of those films. Good lord, when is my job going to start.
