Salt. Drink. Lemon.

At the bar last night, a friend of mine bought a round of tequila shots. I'd never had tequila before but I'd heard the tales of what it does. Lick salt from your hand, down the drink, suck the lemon. Seems simple enough, right?

Well, long story short I somehow managed to spit half my drink over the table. I do not like tequila it seems. I'd try it again though - I need to get it right.

Everyone has the one drink they can't drink anymore due to bad experiences. Mine is sambuca. My sister's is vodka. One of my friends can't touch whiskey.

Inspire me.

I'm working on a project to write 366 short stories, each one taking place on a different day across a whole year. I'm writing in all different styles, different lengths, different genres, different tones, different characters, different settings. I'm giving everything a go. This is more a personal project than anything else, but if anything comes out of it, then that's brilliant.

But 366 is a lot. Please, give me suggestions of short stories I should try and write. There are some ground rules though.

(1) They must be realistic to the early 21st century - no zombies or aliens or superpowers, etc.
(2) The events must last no longer than one day. Just a single scene is best.

All suggestions welcome.

If you're gonna be a gossip, you need a lot of phones. I'd love to say these are all still functional, but they aren't. These are the five phones I have had in my life.

Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Samsung. I got the newest one on Monday.

Mr Strong is the strongest person in the world. He can tie a knot in an iron bar with his bare hands, he can throw a cannonball as we can a tennis ball, and he can hammer in nails by tapping them with his finger. He can apparently do this by having a diet that consists mostly of eggs.

I don't like eggs, which is probably why it's so hard for me to lift this book. But a question that Mr Strong would approve of: how do you like your eggs?

It's Sunday again. I've been 22 for a week now, and the week has actually been pretty good.
