This is me at a feminist rally. My friend and I are distributing leaflets demanding a law to protect victims of domestic violence. There's no such thing as a restraining order in our country. The cops usually recommend the woman to stop distracting them from important things, go home and make up with the husband, and not to make him angry in the future.

Can't believe it's August already. Got an early (really early) birthday present, a ukulele. Aaahh! So excited! Have been dreaming about it. Also, it's my first string instrument. Feels like learning a new language.

I was luxuriating on the lawn when i suddenly realized everybody on this lawn formed different kinds of happy couples. There were four of them. A mother was playing with her 5 year old son; two lovers were kissing; two friends were having a lovely picnic, i was wondering if they really were architects or designers because they looked like those. They were laughing and... i'm not sure if there's such a thing as binge talking or binge socializing (and i hope you pardon my funny English if there's not) but this is what they were doing. The fourth couple was my dog and myself. Now that my dog is away, enjoying the countryside life with my mother, i can feel how close i have grown to him. There is something about being a girl with a dog. "Me and my dog". "My dog and me". So complete. So happy.

This is my neighbourhood at 5:30 am.
I take long walks early mornings, while everybody's asleep. I leave this district for a breath of fresh air. This is the only part of the day when i can hear the birds, the leaves, the wind, and the river. And my own thoughts, too. In just one hour, it'll become too noisy.
