My first day back teaching (music / drama) in the new primary school [which has round classrooms!!!] I got spoilt with coffee but the taste was some what soured by the fact they gave me the Elvis mug (knowing that I have a hate of Elvis due to my mum being obsessed with Elvis!)
Also, today being 11.11.09 I had to play the 'last post' and do assembly in school. Sad assembly today because we also had a memorial for Rob by dedicating a bench to his memory and planting trees. (Rob was the best teacher I have ever met and worked with and sadly passed away of cancer in July - also the reason i've not taught since July. Its not been the same without Rob.) Was lovely hearing people say certain things about him but seeing all the staff, children and his family upset was just heart breaking. But hey ho... He will be remembered!
Im getting ready for an orchestra rehearsal now. Busy Busy Busy!

Ok So.... Today I got a new music book (les Mus vocal selection!) YAY!!! and then... to top the day off I managed to get a ticket to see Les Mis in Cardiff in January!!! (Tickets in the post) YAY!!!
And @roxburger... You reeeally need to Listen to the Les Mis Sound Track!!! - Its just pure awsome! ;)
