I got back from Paris today! It was wonderful, despite me managing to flash the city while on a bridge. Twas a windy day.
I look rotten after traveling today, but I'll take a picture of myself for tomorrow's booth. You must be SO excited for that.
My mother got properly frisked at the French airport today, then they saw me laughing about it with her so they looked through my bag again. Yep, because Irish housewives & their daughters are typical terrorists. I know it's their job & all but come on, pick on someone likely instead of wasting time on ridiculous people like us.
Oh my god, ok so here's a nice little story for you, ok? Ok. Well we had a lovely hotel room in Disneyland & that was all fine dandy & lovely, ok? Then there were a ton of ants in it one night & the next morning there were so many ants in our room, that we had to change rooms. WHOA.
Oh my God, @frumpydarling is in Disneyland Paris, and she sent me a picture of her in Paris, and was like,

There's a very annoying dog next door that constantly howls like a wolf & I'm feeling like being a bad person & KILLING IT.
I can hear Harry Potter on downstairs. I didn't know it was on today & now I'm very very upset. I know I have it on dvd, but it's different when it's on tv, right?
I'm off to Paris tonight! & by tonight I mean I'm getting up at 4am to go to the airport. I'm so excited! Our hotel has internet so I'll probably still be boothing. I can't wait!
Today was my first day wearing this hairband, & I'm already in love with it!
What's everyone's plans for the night? I think I'll just stay in bed with 500 Days of Summer & a yummy crêpe! @AverseBliss is after getting me in the mood to watch 500 Days, it feels like ages since I've watched it when in reality it's only been about a week.
Today was dull. We went to the Writers' museum & Aid Centre, I nearly fell asleep in the latter. We came back in time for physics though, which was great. We made a flubber & droplets of water float on a hot plate!
I'm really boring lately, so I'll go with a generic question. What's everyone doing this fine Tuesday night?
I lost my lovely purse today & I was so upset. Not because of the money that was in it (€10!), but because it's such a pretty purse. Not to mention my Super Mario keyring that was on my keys inside it. But then it turns out some lovely person had handed it in to the secretary's office, which made me très happy!
I've decided to improve my French. It's awful recently, & it's impossible to keep up in class. My french teacher speaks fluent french at us at a really high speed, so I need to understand him instead of nodding my head "Oui" whenever he asks something.
Oh yeah, I went back to school today. BORING. I hate school. Work was amazing, it's exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life, so I'm pretty bummed about being back at school, yeah.
I'm about to watch Gigantic, I've seen it once before & it was quite good, & afterwards I'm going to watch 17 Again. Yummy, Zac Efron. I only like him for his hair, ok? But he is a pretty decent actor, hsm aside. Fuck I hated that movie.
My house alarm keeps going off but no one that we know of is downstairs, so I'm sleeping with my can of deodorant, just in case someone sneaks into my room tonight. Y'know, so I can spray them in the eyes. That's normal, right?
Do you do odd things when you think there's someone in your house? It's probably just me :/
Work was fun today (as usual). Everyone was all stressed about deadlines for the first half of the day, but then everyone was all mellow after lunch, so I was like cool.
Then I had all my articles finished & no one was around to give me more work so I just surfed around wikipedia articles (all journalism related, of course). Now I know all about The New York Times & Anna Wintour. So yeah, cool.
Work today was fun! I got a good few articles done, including one about The Priests. Yep, Ireland has a group of singers called The Priests. Who are, in fact, priests. & they're going on a nationwide tour this summer. Book your tickets now!
Everyone's all stress stress stressy in the newsroom right now so I relieve some of that stress stress stress by going round & round in my swivelly chair. That chair is the best thing that's ever happened to me.

I forgot to take my notebook with me for the presentation at Student Enterprise, so I had to make do with my arm & @fiya's pen to make notes.
Oh, I'm officially a writer now. Yep, my first article was published in the newspaper I work in for work experience. On page 3. Fuck yes I'm on page 3!
