This was me mid way through the Indy #GayPride event for the GLBT community in Indianapolis.

This year the event was held in the American Legion Mall which is where President Obama spoke when running for President during the primary's.

The Mall is centered between the National headquarters for the Amercian Legion, Indiana State headquarters, The Indianapolis Central Library and the World War Memorial. Basically it is the City's living room.

I think it is especially appropriate that this event, which has the sole purpose of advancing Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and TransGendered civil rights, is occurring in the literally in the backyard of the American Legion which is the largest organization for American War Vets at a time when we are debating "Don't Ask-Don't Tell" which is keeping GLBT soldiers from serving publicly in the military.
