I must apparently really hate myself and life because I'm knitting this scarf right now. Anyone who knows anything about knitting knows how much of a masochistic bastard you have to be to knit a double knit scarf.
In English: I'm knitting a scarf with two strings of yarn. The opposite side of the scarf is the opposite color pattern of this side of the scarf.
Well boothers, I've been doing chores all day long. One of those chores included changing the sheets on my bed. As you can tell my room has an actual theme to it. I think it's the perfect fit for my personality.
If you have ever wanted to know what my desk looks like when I'm sitting down to spend time working on my novel- here you go. It's going to be a long day of developing my three primary characters and working on scene and character descriptions.
The story is truly lacking description. The plot and story line is there. I just need to figure out how to slow it down. The goal for today will be to get somewhere between 5-10K words written. I'm sitting at roughly 3.5K words right now. Ultimate goal will be 95-100K words.

Right now I'm working on a little bit of a more complex scarf. The knitting aspect is easy - it's the cabling that can be tough! It's also a pattern that Ted and I are working on modifying from a swatch pattern.
