The only thing that would make this picture more perfect is if this puppy was a kitten. And if my hair were clean. And my forehead wasn't so huge. Besides that, it rocks.
Operation Pride Day 6. Once upon a time, I wrote in a journal every single day for at least 3 pages. Although sometimes the pages were filled with various forms of "I don't know what to write", it was a great practice I've been meaning to return to for ages. But I never had the "right" notebook or pen. Now I do. Yay for me.
Operation Pride Day 5. After a long day, and after almost ten months of living here, I finally ventured into the pool area and got in the hot tub. Another thing I've been wanting to do for months and months. Yay for me.
Operation Pride Day 4. Today, I was at a hotel I've been to at least 15 times before for work functions. On the lunch break which I usually would just work through, I went outside (amazing act #1) and went across the street to somewhere I'd never been before (amazing act #2), a fishing pier. I sat in the sun (amazing act #3) until the pigeons got too aggressive for my liking. And I even talked to the guy who ran the bait shop on the pier (amazing act #4). Yay for me.
Operation Pride Day 3. Let there be light! I've been living practically in the dark since I moved into my apartment nine months ago. After sundown, my apartment is usually only lit by the TV, my laptop and the dining area light. But today is a new day! I got two lamps, lightbulbs and even got sheets for the couch and a bath mat as well (unrelated to light but long overdue). And I replaced two burned out bulbs as well. Yay me.
Operation Pride Day Two. I went to see a movie -- on a work night -- that I've been wanting to see for weeks (A Serious Man - seriously funny. I recommend it.) Yay for me!
