everything was perfect, yet i had nobody to share it with.
i woke up to the rising sun shining on the sheer, lace curtains, and the song of birds. i laid in the sun listening to the most beautiful of music. i found an old leather chest that was locked. i picked up an old metal flashlight off a dusty bookshelf, and it would only work when you shook it. i walked the walls of ruins and looked at the history within them. i saw my shadows dance across the wooden paneled walls. our resident wild turkeys came to watch the sunset over the rock quarry. the cool breeze filled this old home with peace.
everything was perfect, yet i had nobody to share it with.
i'm beginning to realize that it's better to be in love with the people around you rather than the place that you are living.
and, while i truly love people here, i see that i am not content. i think i just need to find new air to breathe.
@angeliquexo and @politelyowned's visit and an askew universe became slightly more aligned.
what beautiful people i spent the day with - beautiful, beautiful people.
