In Japaneses animation, "Totoro, the Neighbor", main character's one is 'Totoro'. So my daughter adopted his name as 'toto' missing 'ro'. Personally I think, there is naming habits with 2 letters or 4, but 3 letters is rare without name of human in Korea, South. Common cat's name is 'Nabi' or 'Navi', So if you visit Korea and see a cat, Call 'nabi(ya)~', perhaps he(she) will look at you! :). 'ya' is a noun ending when calling name.
