I made it my mission on my family's road trip last week to end up with at least ONE picture of myself that I don't hate... and this would be it. Standing in front of the Grand Canyon as the sun is setting - absolutely gorgeous setting.
So the bookstore at my university hired me for an odd little project... since I'm a film student, the Marketing woman I work for wants me to make some short films about buying textbooks, how textbook buyback works, all that fun stuff.
Right now, the plan to make these videos interesting is to film them vlogbrother style... which involves me, in front of a camera - something that kind of freaks me out.
So, I think I'm going to try to do near-daily dailybooth pictures. I won't freak out if I miss a day, but i'll try to find something interesting to put in a photo every day. Maybe that will, in some way, help me get more comfortable in front of a camera lens.
Today's photo, thus, features the next disc of the fabulously entertaining show The Tudors, which I hope to watch some of tonight. Exciting!
P.S. Computer screen glare on glasses... annoying, but inevitable. Welcome to life with glasses.
So, I kind of went on a Threadless.com shopping spree and have a bunch of awesome new T-Shirts. Each day I wear them, I want to show them off, so here's #1: Magic Is Just Stuff Science Hasn't Made Boring Yet. :)
P.S. I know I'm headless, but it's difficult to make the shirt and my head visible. oh well.
I'm a Nerdfighter, Leaky staffer, blogger, and college student! I've always been afraid of having my photo taken, so let's see if we can break that down, why don't we? :)
