LOOK! I MADE A NEW FRIEND! Yesterday I was looking through a box of toys and I saw a load of ginger hair and screamed, “OH MY GOSH, THERE’S A WEASLEY IN THIS BOX!” I named him Ron and now I keep making lame jokes that no one finds funny like when one of the kids said, “Ron is my best friend,” I replied, “ACTUALLY he’s Harry Potter’s best friend.” I’m so immature.
The thought of going back to the “real world” after all the incredible fun I’ve had makes me want to curl up in my sock draw and sleep for a week, but it’s time I got back to work to earn money for the next big adventooourr.
But first I want to take a moment to reflect on my favourite moments of the summer of 2010. (Bullet point time!)
* Singing “The Weapon” with Paul DeGeorge and hundreds of amazing Harry Potter fans.
* Watching Umbridge spank Fred Weasley (WAYHEY!)
* Finally seeing my favourite band The Ministry Of Magic.
* Eating cottage pie in the Three Broomsticks.
* Going to the premier of AVPS.
* Raising our cocktail straws wands for Albus Dumbledore.
* Going to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and singing to “Don’t Stop Believing” in Hogsmeade.
* Sippin’ Mountain Dew in Central Park.
* Pulling Karen Gillian poses in Times Square.
* Attending the Roflcoptour in New Jersey.
* Driving to London listening to Skyway Flyer which is the soundtrack of my summer.
* Attending the John Green and Nerdfighter London meet-up.
* Spending excessive amounts of time with my favourite people in the whole wide world <3
Words to repeat in times of dispair: “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it’s happened.”
I've spent the afternoon at my Godfather's retirement party and although it was fun and all I'm soooo ready to spend the night watching Lost with my good friend Rockstar.
