I'll be playing the role of a farmer on WEDNESDAY as we present (FINALLY) an original theater presentation produced and directed by us. :)

This is what kept me away from my real life. Practice every night.

For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been ranting online about how excited I was to attend David Guison's talk on blogging and online marketing + a little bit of photography in Ateneo. Last Tuesday was the day I was waiting for. I FINALLY got to meet him, and anyone who knew David and how awesome he was would feel really honored to be in his presence. He's a blogging royalty, an internet sensation, if you may. He's only been blogging for two years yet the attention and opportunities he's been given are amazing. And he's just 20 years old.

Last week, I was a rockstar (minus the dark eyes). The Ateneo Media Studies Society Acquaintance Party decked the halls with studs and leather. It was the best party I have attended so far this year. Everybody wore their best ROCK OUTFITS. Spell EFFORT.

A few hours before the party, I had to find something to wear. I already had the outfit sketched on my mind. All I had to do was to look for the pieces. I was like doing a 30-minute styling challenge while scanning for clothes at local thrift shops, I had very limited time and budget to shop. I had prior meetings and commitments earlier that day.

Games. Dinner. Music. Party. Let’s skip those parts.

What made my night unforgettable was the after-party.

Let’s just say I had too much of what i should have had.

I just got back this morning from a 4-day Theater Workshop for my Theater class. IT WAS A WHOLE LOT OF EXERCISES AND AFTER-SESSION DRINKING (AND SWIMMING). :)

We took a short photo break while rehearsing for the play we presented last night as the final output of the entire workshop. I was given the role of a yuppie who cheats of his wife with local prostitutes. I know. Kind of a mature role. The audience thought so, too. I was acting side by side with my taller and more mature-looking classmates so it's safe to say my acting did not work. I was overshadowed by their portrayals.

Anyway, I did learn a lot of skills and techniques. I am ready to act for a play we will present at school on September. I just hope they cast me for a role I can really give justice, too.
