    It's been a while...

I've tried to stay organised, reading and studying as I go, but I know this won't last past the first few weeks of the course. If I start doing daily pictures again, you'll know it's because I'm avoiding more important stuff.

Looks like I'm already on that slippery slope. Shit.

This year is gonna be intense. Bye, Summer. Bye, social life.

I should probably get off the internet and do my homework for tomorrow. And some prep for those presentations they told us to do.

@eeliverse Four is pretty ambitious. I'm generally lazy on here and regularly forget/skip days.

@padraicmyprince Looks awesome. I'm pretty sure Smashing Pumpkins played there a few years ago. Hit me up when you're going so I can book some speedy flights over.

Glasgow's got the usual arena-style places for the big crowds, but some cool smaller venues too - Belle & Sebastian are doing a few of home-turf nights in December at this great wee place but it's hella expensive ("it used to be about the music, man"). Generally, you don't have to travel too far to see good bands here - the furthest would be London which is only about an hour by plane. Being a TINY country has mixed blessings, I guess.

@padraicmyprince there are plenty. This one is an old Art Deco dancehall, but there's a cool venue built into the underground vaults of the city, so it's all stone arches n shit. Most of the bigger bands only do one date in Scotland, usually in Glasgow which is the bigger city, so it's always cool getting less well-known bands here.

Glasgow's only 50 mins on the train though, so it's no biggy.

@eeliverse It's a good company to work for, but I generally dislike most customers and unclogging the waste disposal, if my managers decide I should spend my 10 hour shift manning the dishwasher. Fun idea: let's swap jobs.

Work was poop, and tonight was uneventful. TOMORROW, however, is a different kettle of fish. I refuse my last day of Summer to be anything other than fun.

    Itinerary for Sunday 23rd:

10am - comedy show, possibly breakfast
11am onwards - wander around, discover fun festival things, more food
7pm - Beirut (the band, just to clear up any confusion)

@Matticuss Hope you have a ca-ray-zee time. Don't get drunk and punch any strippers.

@Digit I just linked it to you through one of your booths, without reading this first. Ugh.
