What?! Two posts in two days?! I think I must have a fever or something.
Nerdfighter notes written by my niece and me to put in books by John Green and Maureen Johnson. It's (part of) how my niece wanted to celebrate her birthday because she's awesome like that.
Yeah, so if I'm gonna get this done before VidCon 2011, I'd better get it done. These are my last pictures from 2010. (Well, the last of the ones I'm posting. Some didn't come out too well.)
So anyway, this is me with the great and powerful John Green. I had several conversations with him at VidCon and he was unfailingly kind and sincerely interested in the people around him, even if he was a wee bit shy and adorably awkward. :-) It was a pleasure to meet him and I hope to do it again some time.
And, lest there be any confusion since I wasn't this effusive about my picture of Hank, he was completely awesome as well. I had two fairly lengthy conversations with him and he amazed me with his friendliness and interest in what I had to say, despite how insanely stressed I know he had to be at that time.
This is one of the best things I took away from VidCon, in fact. It felt good to confirm that John and Hank genuinely are great guys and not just playing roles that they think will make them popular. I'm glad that the paths of our lives have crossed and I hope they continue to be successful and show the world that intelligence and integrity will always triumph over ignorance and acrimony.
Next pic from VidCon 2010: The amazing Rhett & Link. The quality is poor because the light was very low and my camera sucks, but there it is. Do yourself a favor and get to know these guys if you aren't already familiar with their work. They really are fantastic.
I seem to have gotten off track with the VidCon 2010 pictures. It occurs to me that I should finish up the rest before it's time for VidCon 2011, right?
So here's a dream come true for lots of people: Charlie (@coollike) undressing. Wooo!
Are you guys familiar with http://zefrank.com/youngmenowme? I love that project SO MUCH and I've wanted to do it with this picture for AGES. I finally got my brothers to do it last night. Woot!
At the top left is Marcus, the "baby" of the family, who's 6 years younger than I am, and cut off on the right is Jonathan, who's 5 years younger than me. That's right, they're just over a year apart in age. Cool, huh?
And aren't we just the CUTEST THINGS YOU'VE EVER SEEEEEEEN?! :D
Next are my totally cool twin nephews, Christopher (L) and Geoffrey (R), who are 16. Amazingly enough, this is only one of THREE sets of twin nephews that I have. :¬O
