Today kicked ass. Woke up, ate breakfast, played some FFXIII, ordered pizza and wings for lunch, played ukulele, and then I went to the music store. Ironically, the music store is actually called The Music Store. I got a bunch of other ones! I'll post them below.

I feel as if my writing juices are running dry

Today is such a good day. Feelin ready to take on just about anything!

Saw an old co-worker of mine today. Strange how I see these California folk in Arizona. What's even weirder is that it's been girls who I was friends with, but then found out they were ultra-bitchy.

Incredibly spastic from doing lots of sitting and mental-type work all day.

Watching The Princess and The Frog yet again, just so I can hear the music. Being surrounded by fantastic music kind of blows. Makes me wonder whether I'll ever be that skilled or not.

I need to find a spot where I can get fresh air, some sort of nature view, and solitary. I guess what I really want to do is go camping with nothing but food, drink, and my uke. It's been a loooooong time.

Help! I need somebody~

Anytime I hear any of their "pop"-y songs, it brings me back to my childhood. Ma driving me to school, telling me how she learned guitar just to play along to their songs. This was way back when, when piano was the only instrument I played. It's funny how I played piano for all those years and just never cared about music whatsoever. I hardly remember how to play now.

Surprisingly, I haven't spent every waking moment of my life with FFXIII. Still managing to get in chores and stuff, and only neglecting school as much as usual. It's been randomly cold though, so it's pretty easy to just plop on the couch, throw a blanket over, and play for a couple of hours.

Absolutely no work today. Have to get stuff done, but I need a mental health/get house shit done day.

Sorry I've been gone. Busy/lazy. Will be busy with this now.

I've been talking to christie a lot lately. Heart breaking, but it's nice being able to talk to her almost daily.

So that guy that was spreading rumors about me and my friends? Turns out he now wears a retainer with 3 fake teeth. I feel kind of bad, but not really.

Today's bad news? Rent and bills set me back on getting that laptop. I'm about $400 short now. Anybody need a musician/carpenter/luthier?

I'm working on something seeeeecret.

Headphones are broken. The one side that does work...is the broken side. Sad. My entire life seems to be broken. My headphones, laptop, guitar, ipod, my short-lived responsibility streak, my appetite, and especially my bank account.

I'm dedicating today's booth to the #DBFilmClub. We're watching Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels on Sunday, which is one of my favorite movies of all time!

Basically, I'm gonna ramble about a couple movies now.

Toy Story - Another one of my favorite movies. It probably makes me happier now than it did when I was a kid. I'm really excited for 3! I loved the soundtrack, and still listen to the songs. Probably the only time I'll ever listen to Randy Newman, haha.

Serenity - WHERE ARE MY BROWNCOATS AT!?!? haha. I watched this movie a while ago, but completely forgot about it. Then I got into Firefly, and watched it again. On it's own, it's already a great movie, in my opinion. As the "closer" to Firefly, it was pretty amazing. Sci fi is my favorite genre of film/tv and I'm glad to have seen this awesome movie.

The Endless Summer - Now, before you say anything...I don't surf. I have no intention on learning how to surf. My brother surfs, and a bunch of my friends surf, and that's about as far as I'm getting into it. However, The Endless Summer is what got me into dedicating myself into my hobbies. (Which eventually ended up into me being a songwriter). I've always wanted to go on a really long trip doing nothing but what I love.

SLC Punk - Another one of my favorite movies here. Another movie to relate to, indirectly. Being in today's punk scene kind of feels the same way. More on this later.

Out Cold - My friends and I have watched this movie so many times it's ridiculous. Every time I watch it now, it reminds me of the bajillion adventures my friends and I have had. The soundtrack is so damn 90's, even though the film came out in '01. I love it.

Robin Hood Men In Tights - Ummm...not much to say here. Definitely one of the funnies movies I have EVER seen. If you haven't seen it, go do so immediately. But be warned, you might pee your pants.

I'm not even going to get into Star Wars. I could go on forever.

(sorry about the long blurbs lately. I've been incredibly stressed out, and seeing as how I don't have anybody/anything to hit, I use talking to release some of the stress) [Also, starting tomorrow, I'm going to spend a week talking about the music and the industry. I feel it be important, considering as how I'm in the damn thing.]

I can't stop laughing at myself. Seriously. For some reason, my farmer's tan is AMPLIFIED by Dailybooth. Like, when I look in a mirror, I don't really notice it. But here, it's like, KABLAM!

But when I'm up on the mic, I got the mind overload.

I just learned the song where those lyrics came from. I really love how it goes in the song. Ok, I didn't just learn it, but I did figure out all the parts to it. I just need to work on getting them in the right places, hahaha.

In other news, I'm going to LA soon! I was supposed to go this weekend, but it looks like the show has been rescheduled, which is a bonus for me, but could also be bad.
Bonus? I don't have to drive to CA right after I get my oil changed, pay rent and bills, and I don't have to worry about watching Alice in Wonderland thursday night or giving my roommate to the airport monday morning. I mean, I still have to do those things, but I don't have to worry about leaving and coming and the trip and whatnot.
Bad? It might be scheduled on Thursday, which is the day of my lecture class. Even worse, it gets scheduled on Tuesday or Wednesday. Then I'd have no reason to ditch either.

Funny thing about this show? It's not actually a show. We're playing outdoors with friends and stuff watching, and recording a couple of "live" tracks. I only heard about that this morning. Sometimes I really hate my fucking job.
