Born in China, but raised in New Jersey, David Zhang will always be a son of two worlds (really three, since he dreams in Latin). With a penchant for perfect timing, he graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in finance just as every investment bank in the world went bankrupt. Dave happily joined VaynerMedia during the company's inception in May of 2009, and took on the position of Controller (a fitting title for a man of such authority). His hobbies include both watching and playing sports, especially quasi-sports like dodgeball and wiffleball, cheesy wordplay jokes, and having others cook for him. He often receives compliments on how soft his hands are, even though his handshakes are quite firm.
