Ok, so I took a trip to the FSU bookstore today...is it obvious? I usually don't wear hats but I need to wear one for volunteering at the local soup kitchen. Liz said that I look "a little hot" wearing these so I guess I did alright on my purchase :)
I'm looking forward to taking a class in the Fall. I'm REALLY looking forward to college ministry work in the Fall! After meeting with only a couple campus ministry leaders thus far here in BR, I feel very blessed to be a part of a great thing that God is doing here. Pray for God's continued blessing and direction over all the campus ministries and churches here.
At Kaya Coffee Shop in Mt. Pleasant! I haven't been here in FOREVER! I can remember coming here back during my time at CMU to get random drinks, read, and hang out...so many good times. I used to live only a couple houses down from here... Oh, Chai Shake...it's pretty good :)
What an amazing day! It's already 70+ degrees outside and absolutely beautiful. Got the windows open and now, with the new table in my office (thanks, mom and dad :)) I can sit in front of the window to do work and whatnot...so I'm getting a little sunlight on my face. Thank you, Lord, for life and for such a wonderful day!
A little colder out today...so it's nice to have my FSU long sleeve to wear! I've been spending a lot of time working on the computer between yesterday and today. I've got MULTIPLE to-do lists going right now...and they seem to grow rather than shrink sometimes. :)
Going to have to SERIOUSLY lay off the Biggby coffee for awhile after this past week. I may, perhaps, be sitting in my new coffee shop home. I haven't yet been on campus to the other couple places or downtown either so we'll see. At any rate, it's nice to be here and enjoying the nice atmosphere of a coffee place again... There's just something about hanging out, reading, and working in this environment that's special...
Beautiful yet kinda chilly day in BR. Hanging out with Sara and the Taylor girls (sounds like a band name or something...) Nice to have friends relatively close by...an hour is relatively close, right?
