    Went out to hang at camp today. Unfortunately, with the hospital, I wasn't able to be a camper this year, but I was able to go out and visit tonight. My brother-in-law is directing the session this week, and he let me do the campfire devotional (its a church camp). The original plan was that I was going to do that devo, but JJ got someone else signed up for it when I had my surgeries. But since I was out there and I had it written he let me do it :D Also, it was awesome to see all my good friends. Tomorrow I'll post a picture of my incision. Its pretty sweet lookin'

    Update from back home! Unlike my previous picture, where I stated that the NEXT day I would be put on soft foods, I was put on REGULAR food the same evening. The next day I could even eat sandwiches! Just note: eggs are not a good idea after not using your stomach for nearly two weeks. Anyway, yesterday I was released at noon, so that's very good news. I just have to take it easy until August 16th. As for taking it easy, they say do whatever you feel up to doing. Which even includes driving, which is good!

    Since about every picture I could possibly take in the hospital would look the same, here's another from Jamaica of Amber and I. I knew Amber before the Jamaica trip but we got closer during the trip and are now in a relationship =)

    On the hospital side of things, it's good news: The only thing we have been waiting on is my insides to all wake up, and they have been doing so. I should be able to get soft foods tomorrow, which means they can take the IV out. Normal food tuesday. I may be able to go home that same day, but I will be able to go home no later than Wednesday.

    sooo yeah Im in the hospital now... Ive been since the 4th... I had my appendix removed.... then my bowels had an obstruction... not very fun when they stick a tube up your nose and down your throat to remove over 3 liters of liquid from your stomach. Doing much better now, but I'm really wanting to be home. If I can keep clear liquids down today, they'll put me on soft foods tomorrow. If I can do that, I'll get off my I.V. and then I'll almost be able to go home.
