halloweekend:

last friday was actually way more exciting than halloween day, unfortunately. we hit it off at a frat party (TKE) , where I once again realized that frats are not my scene. Regardless, it was amusing watching my floor stumble and yell about as inebriated buffoons.

a group of friends and i went as the seven deadly sins. Victoria was lust, Abbey envy, Rachael greed, Sam wrath, Emily sloth, and I--I was pride; gay pride. I know it doesn't imply anything good--as in it implies terrible things--but i couldn't whip together a narcissus costume quick enough.

Oh, and Gluttony. Well we just told everyone she was in the bathroom throwing up because she's bulimic.

Friday was enjoyable either which way. It's interesting to note the readily apparent switch between celebrating halloween last year and celebrating halloween this year. Maybe not last year specifically, but there's definitely a decidedly difference milestone between the two years: last year still included trick or treating, costuming, pumpkin carving, and candy giving; this year was all about going out to a party and getting smashed. Growing up is sad, people.
