I don't want to sound condescending but: aren't you generalizing about dailybooth people; and, why isn't it okay for people to use it for sheer fun? Some people just don't enjoy spending a lot of time philosophizing. I personally find it causes me insomnia and migrane headaches! Lol...

I don't go to Church. I meditate and pray on the mysteries of the Holy Rosary, and I read the parts of the bible which pertain to those mysteries. Otherwise, I only go to church if I have someone to go with, which I don't. I like going, I like to sing and meditate with other people in a house of God. I just don't like going solo...

O... my dear Sister in Christ, you mustn't miss out on the sanctifying graces that Mass bestows upon you.
The key is to be part of a Parish. Get the Priests to know you, get to know the choir and sacristans, just be part of the Parish family and Mass will be a joy.
Because I can, I go to Mass each day. This is a blessing in my otherwise burdensome life.
If you stay faithful to the Holy Rosary, then you will find yourself at Mass as often as you can.November 16th, 2010

My father is Catholic and I was born in a Catholic hospital... never baptized. I recieved the Eucharist every Sunday in fourth grade, in a secret non-demoniational Christian meeting at a neighbor's house; it was held in secret because we would have been jailed. It was in an arab country. I went to these secret church meetings by myself; my dad was usually away on business and my mom and dad said I could be any religion I wanted as long as I said my prayers to God every night to bless my family, friends, and all the poor and suffering people in the world. I was never ever coerced into going to church or sunday school. I went because I enjoyed it.

Your story has a number of mysteries to it and I question you so intently to determine your communion with the Church and the remedy that you can once again receive the Eucharist.
You were so young and born in a Catholic hospital, with a Roman Catholic father, how can you be so certain that you were not Baptized?
When you received that Eucharist, was it just a gathering or was it Mass? Who gave you the Eucharist, a Eucharistic Minister or a Deacon or a Priest?
To receive the Eucharist you must be in communion with the Church, so if it was a gathering of Roman Catholics receiving the Eucharist it definitely was not 'non-denominational' it was Roman Catholic visited by non-Christian Roman Catholics.
Who ever gives you Holy Communion, it is their duty and obligation to administer the Eucharist only to those in communion with the Church, that is only fellow faithful of the Roman Catholic Church can worthily receive the Eucharist.
They cannot administer it to other Christian sects like so much candy given to Trick-or-Treat children begging on Halloween . They would be committing a sin. They must be trained first to administer the Eucharist and they must know this.
Do you remember your 'First Holy Communion' and wearing a white dress and receiving the Eucharist from a Bishop or Priest in Mass?
Some Bishop or Priest had to have had Mass somewhere, and consecrated those Hosts, if indeed, it is the Eucharist. If there was no Bishop or Priest, if there was no Mass, then it is NOT the Eucharist.
Only a Bishop and his collaborator, the Priest, in communion with the Holy See in Rome has the authority from Jesus Christ to turn ordinary bread and wine, into the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, even as your senses still tell you it is only bread and wine.
Who ever is given the responsibility to then administer those Hosts must be certain that only the faithful can worthily receive.
The blaspheming leaders of other Christian sects do hand out bread to their congregation and falsely call it 'Holy Communion' but it is just bread. It has all of the sanctity as a stage play on Broadway in New York City. Seriously, they would be doing better for their souls if they just purchased the tickets and watched the show, instead of pretending to do the Will of Jesus as he commanded at His Last Supper.
Maybe there is a misunderstanding here. Maybe you never received the Holy Eucharist? Other Christian sects, not in communion with the Holy See in Rome, mislead many Christians with their incomplete Gospel and heresy. These sects confuse the followers of Jesus Christ by handing out their bread like it is the Eucharist, but of course it is not. These rascals shall be severely reprimanded by our Lord Jesus Christ upon their Judgment Day for misleading so many souls.
Again, I give you this fact, these Christian sect leaders sin against our Lord, they do administer 'bread' and they call it 'communion' but it is just bread. It is not a Sacrament. They freely admit that it is just bread and it is just a symbol with no real meaning.
Remember this, the unleavened bread must be consecrated by a Bishop or Priest, Ordained in the Roman Catholic Church and this Sacrament of the Eucharist is done only during Mass and by the authority given to the Church and its collaborators, only the Bishops and Priests, no one else can do this, this bread and this wine IS the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Eucharist IS the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ.
Every Roman Catholic around this earth know this. All Roman Catholics upon this planet, believe this, it is dogma that must be believed or they cannot receive the Eucharist as they are not in communion with the Church.
Maybe you didn't get the 'Eucharist' but you got some bread given by some blaspheming heretic.... Maybe?November 17th, 2010

Uh, I don't know. It was crackers and grape juice. I was only ten years old.
I never did communion or confirmation or baptism. I was the flower girl in a Catholic wedding when I was five, wore a white dress, Lol... No, I can't be a Catholic until I finish Catechism classes and they will baptize and confirm me on the same day: most likely Easter.November 17th, 2010
