Sundried tomato and rosemary ham and butterkase cheese sandwich on cuban bread with homegrown tomatoes and japanese mayo. Jalapeno poppers on the side.
I wouldn't be surprised if I found out tomorrow that I'm incapable of eating anything not sandwichy. Still have half my bread to go through!
Went to the store yesterday. I just wanted one sub roll and 1/2 a foot of cuban bread, but the sub rolls came in a pack of 4 and the cuban bread in one giant 2ft loaf. Having this much bread kinda makes me want to buy the preservative-loaded kind.
Was in the mood for burgers, but I have an irrational dislike of ground beef, so I made tuna tofu patties instead. Stuffed them with zucchini, herbs, and spinach. Made rolls from scratch. (A little dry. Don't know what happened there.) Used avocado instead of sauce and ate it with a side of tomatoes. It was nice, but something was off.
Yesterday, a "beach day" turned out to be only two hours at the beach, then Panda Express, a pint of ice cream + movie, and then vegetarian tacos at Chipotle.
Ever have a sneaking suspicion your friends are blatantly trying to make you fat?
Rosemary parmesan crackers. They were incredibly easy to make and pretty tasty. Would've used tons more rosemary, but my cat chewed up half of the herbs on our windowsill.
Wikipedia's failed me on explaining this one, so I'll wing it. Patatim is a Filipino dish (apparently adapted from a Chinese dish called hong... something) made with beef leg and lettuce. It's salty and a little sweet. So bad for you, but so good. Hand me the bagoong, please.
