Quick Booth!
- Checked my mail after breakfast. Found this postcard from one @herecomesthesun. It's going up on my wall later today. Thanks, Sarah! One problem, though. I can't reply if I don't have an address. *coughcough*
- The shirt? Oh, that's the station shirt. See, I have my show today *coughcough* at 1 PM EST *coughcough*. You can listen live at http://whrwfm.org ... and you can find more info at http://TARDISwhrw.blogspot.com and http://twitter.com/TARDISwhrw
- Classes went well yesterday. We watched most of the rest of The Godfather in my film class. And auditions for "The Foreigner" and "Doctor Horrible" went well, I believe. Callbacks will be posted tonight sometime after 9 PM, which is when tonight's auditions end.
- I've surpassed 365 followers on DB. And leading up to my 1 year anniversary, no less! :D Thanks, everyone!
- I'll be filming my Discussion Wednesday video for tomorrow today after my 2 classes and show, so I'll link that here tomorrow when it goes up.
- I'll hopefully have a few blog posts up within the next few days, so ... stay tuned. http://crimsong19.blogspot.com
...
And I think that's it. See you all for my show! Allson-y, Alonso!

SuperBooth!
At the dorm Super Bowl party thing. And like the not-really-sports person I am, I'll be watching the commercials and the Halftime show. THE WHOOOOO!
- Recap:
Friday- Went to the local production of Othello with a friend in my Shakespeare class. 2 and a half instead of 3/3.5 hours. Good production. Recognized/knew 2 of the actors. Came back to campus and hung out with some friends at Late Nite.
Saturday- Hung out in the dorm. Did some readings for class. Chilled with some friends at a beat/slam poetry event which was quite cool. Chilled with said friends for an hour or so after the event
Today- Chilled in the dorm. Went to a planning meeting for the Beyond Coal kickoff that will be later this week. Helped out with the inventorying/cataloging at the radio station record library.

Table Boothing!
Currently doing some tabling for the radio station.
Done with classes for the day and the week.
Possibly seeing a local production of "Othello" tonight. Or maybe tomorrow night.
If you HAVEN'T seen the Torchwood news video from last week and want to leave a comment that might get picked for the next discussion video or leave a video response *looks at @julescavalier and @squirrelytonks* ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SArJb5HMkoM
And ... that's about it, I'd say. Good week overall. The weekend will be for getting ahead on work and such. Auditions for "The Foreigner" and "Doctor Horrible" are next week. Monday and Tuesday, I think. I'm getting ready for them.
Ask me some more questions! http://formspring.me/crimsong19
Don't forget about my photo project! http://flickr.com/crimsong19 and http://crimsong19.blogspot.com
And I might have a few more textual posts soon on the blog ...
EDIT: Also, I have a new column up. If anyone wants to read it, I'll link it your way.23 comments / 3 Days 20 Hours Ago

It's not repeating! It's not Tuesday anymore! No more waking up to "I Got You Babe"! No more seeing Ned Ryerson at the same time every morning! No more watching the Lost season premiere over and over again! Well ... the one upside of that is that I actually figured out what the eff is going on now!
What's up with me? In the middle of some class work and column work (back to writing 2 Op-Ed columns a month for the campus paper). Got one book for class in the mail today, along with a CD from @jimmyrabbitte that I'll bring down to the radio station within the next day or two or so. And I'm also adding a few touches to my cover letter and resumé that I'll be sending in within a few days.
What did I do yesterday besides go to classes and watch the mind-rapingly awesome season premiere of Lost with a friend? Listen to music! http://www.flickr.com/photos/crimsong19/4326105132/
Anyway ... Lost ... wow ... SPOILER ALERT!
- I'm intrigued to see how the alternate timeline will play out for the Losties.
- Also, WHAT WAS DESMOND DOING ON THE PLANE?!
- And did anyone see David H. Lawrence (Doyle from Heroes) on the show last night? Was he the taxi driver towards the end?
- Kaneda from "Sunshine" is a cast member now! :D
- The pool ... that's how Ben was revived/saved in the past ... but how?! And what's up with the color of it?!
- How the eff did an ankh with Jacob's list of Special People come to be in a guitar case?!
- And what did Juliet mean by "It worked."? Was she referring to the alternate timeline?
BTW, @michaelmidnight has a short little Lost video up. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUAksOVbq7Q
Until Friday! Allons-y, Alonso!

Chilling in the station lobby before heading up for the GIM in a few.
Good day today.
- One of the books I ordered 8 days ago arrived. I didn't need it (I found that out a week ago in class), so I sent it back.
- Both my classes were relatively chill today.
- Got some commentary and tips on my cover letter and resumé that I'll be sending in within the next few days, hopefully.
Good weekend overall.
- Dinner with 2 friends before picking up one of their friends and going to see "Up in the Air" for the 2nd time. (Friday)
- Hung out with another friend and a bunch of her friends as part of a pre-birthday party/celebration/chill time. Got my 2nd Tarot card reading. (Friday)
- Cleaned out storage areas with members of one of the student-run production companies on campus. Got free pizza. (Saturday)
- Saw "Avatar" in 3D with the friend from Friday (and some of her friends, too) for her birthday. (Saturday)
- Relaxed. Hung around. Went to a meeting. Chilled more. (Sunday)
More stuff is up on my Flickr and my blog.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/crimsong19 (The last 3 photos cover this weekend.)
And I realize that I didn't do the tag games that I mentioned on Friday. I'll get to them within the next few days.
Also, I'm planning on auditioning for the production company (the one that I helped over the weekend) shows tomorrow. The play is "The Foreigner". The musical ... "Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog". The song I'm going with is "Hair" from "Hair". My monologue is either going to be the "Who Am I?" bit by The Doctor from "The Christmas Invasion" episode or the "Backpack" bit by Ryan Bingham (George Clooney) from "Up in the Air".
(EDIT: It sounds like the auditions will most likely be next week. *phew*)
... Wow ... Well, I've got quite a gob.
Allons-y, Alonso!

Birthday Booth!
So ... umm ... I'm 20 ... but not yet, if you want to be technical. I was born at 1:20 PM on January 24th 1990 in Columbia Presbyterian in Manhattan. I have no clue how long my mom was in labor for. Or if I was a C section or not. I don't think I was. I was probably told at some point, but I can't remember. Anyway, I was born roughly 4 months prematurely. I had trouble breathing, and as a result, one of my nostrils collapsed. I had 3 surgeries before the age of 5 to repair it with cartilage from my ear. And I weighed 1 pound, 12 ounces at birthday. I was in the hospital for roughly 4 months.
And here I am today. I'm a miracle baby.
So far, I've gotten a handful of birthday wishes, but I will surely have a lot more by the end of the day. And I've gotten a few cards so far, including some nice mail that was awaiting my return. I'll show it all in the comments.
If you want to see or hear about developments on this, the first day of my 20th year on Earth, keep an eye on my Twitter. And my blog. And my Flickr.

Eating this wonderful birthday card that came in the mail from my grandparents.
With a nice sized piece of paper with a plentiful sum that I shall be depositing soon.
And my birthday is on Sunday, so please just calm down.

No tour today. Busy packing because I'm heading back tomorrow. The tour shall come in late March. During Spring Break.
My mom made a few batches of chocolate chip cookies, some of which I'm bringing back with me. NOMNOMNOMNOM.
Here's my last video as a 19 year old for The Nerd Project: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ij0RYfI11Fw
And here's my latest short, if you haven't seen it yet. I'm trying to see if I can get the attention of Edgar Wright, seeing as the first 45 or so seconds is a homage to his directing style. And a bit of Spaced, too. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iigpDFwE6I

And ... I've finished "Under the Dome"!
And ... I got a haircut, too!
So ... I've got lots of stuff to tell you guys, so I'll do it in as little space as possible.
1) I have a new short upon my channel with a ton of Edgar Wright-style edits, which I quite enjoyed doing. I'd love some views and ratings and comments and whatnot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iigpDFwE6I
2) @myownprivatevertigo has started vlogging! She's off to an okay start, but I have a feeling that she can go places. Show her some love! http://youtube.com/msfilmfiend
3) I went with my mom to get some slippers last night and we picked up a few other things for me, too. I'll show you in the comments.
4) After finishing "Under the Dome", ... I honestly would LOVE to be a part of the production of the Steven Spielberg executive produced miniseries that will be made of this thing in the near future. I'm serious. Spielberg is going to be making a miniseries of this. And he has King's permission already.
5) Since this is the last day I'll be boothing at home on winter break, do you guys want a tour of the place? I'll grab some lunch, show you my purchases, then we'll take this thing mobile, okay?
6) ALSO! My mom got me a Flickr Pro account a few days ago. :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
(EDIT) 7) And I'm going to be 20 on Sunday. ... O_O 20?!?!
BTW, don't forget to check my Flickr and blog daily for photo updates!

Broadway Booth!
So, earlier, I went in to NYC with my family and we saw West Side Story. I quite enjoyed it, despite having seen the movie during my senior year of high school in band class (we played a selection of songs from West Side Story) and despite the plot being kinda sorta like Romeo and Juliet. Afterwards, we headed out of the city and made our way to Bonefish Grill for dinner. *smacks lips* Fantastic place to eat. We came home and I discovered this small envelope waiting for me, containing a nice card from @karli, along with a dollar elephant (on top of the Playbill). Thanks a bunch, Karli!
Going to recap the last few days, if you don't mind.
- Wednesday: Hung out around the house for a while and then went over to Matt's (a new friend; also one of the children of one of my mom's friends from work; also was featured on Failblog about a month ago (look up Explosion Effect Fail if you're interested ...)) and we hung out for about 2 hours, talking movies and effects and stuff. He had a copy of Paranormal Activity, so I checked the list of fans at the end of the film ... and I'm on the list! :DDDD I headed back home, relaxed, filmed the first Discussion Wednesday video of the month (about the Spiderman reboot), and watched "The Brothers Bloom" late-ish at night. I quite enjoyed the flick and have added Rian Johnson to the list of directors who I someday hope to work with.
- Thursday: Hung around the house and helped my dad move 2 couches. We got a new couch in the living room and we had to move the old couch from the living room down to the basement, but to do that, we had to take it out the front door, down the driveway, into the garage, and into the basement. I didn't want to move another couch ever again. But I had to. We moved the couch we had in the basement out into the garage and wheeled it up to the curb, which wasn't as bad. I'm never doing that again.
- Friday: I made plans at roughly 2:30 in the morning with my friend Ryan (not on DB) to see "Up in the Air" and grab lunch afterwards. We did. I ... gosh ... the movie was fantastic. Clooney was the perfect pick for the role. I enjoyed seeing the Reitman regulars/mainstays in the flick (J.K. Simmons and Sam Elliot). The film itself was a great commentary or look at modern relationships and how distant yet close we are with family and friends. And I also added (or reconfirmed that I added) Jason Reitman to the list of directors who I someday hope to work with.
